I wasn't suggesting that the stuff Truth was taking was equivalent exchange for the life or non-symbolic. Just that the damage from Rebound trends towards that pattern. A life is priceless but, unrelated to the EE value of a life, the Rebound from failing at Human Transmutation involves body mass vanishing and I theorized that the amount removed is roughly equivalent to the attempted resurrection.

LR already said this was highly unlikely, since her first trigger was cataloged by the loss of a loved one she depended on, and second triggers have to follow the same theme, so withought a similar loss the only trauma she can gain is the mundane kind.
Would it be worthwhile if Aisha had her own non-Named mobile workstation as a precaution in case of an emergency?
Joe knows all capes are vulnerable to Jack Slash's thinker awareness, and might give Aisha a portable workstation in case she needs to stay away from the Celestial Forge so their plans against the Slaughterhouse Nine have the best chance at success.
And it'd be great way to show Aisha's character growth by having an interlude where Aisha is temporarily cut off from the Celestial Forge and forced to go solo. She isn't a tagalong charity case anymore and deserves the opportunity to show the world what she can do.
Honestly, I highly doubt many people are even considering human transmutation in any sense (raising the dead or making Philosopher Stones.) I imagine most people are thinking, "Holy crap, I can mass produce Gold, Platinum, Silver, and a host of other expensive and/or rare metals. Better do it quickly before anyone realizes and then retire to a beach somewhere."
Yes, Victor is looking at Human Transmutation. I imagine most are just seeing it as a potential way to make money or enhance their own power. Victor is probably the outlier here.
Edit: The burger request was something that genuinely made me chuckle. And considering in one of Uppercrust's earlier interludes about cities that he was working in providing 'companionship' during his time there, it wouldn't surprise me if with his renewed... vigor, he finds the idea slightly more acceptable now that he can appreciate it. But then again, he's probably smarter than that.

Honestly I bet that if Joe did get a request for that much of something, and for some reason he decided to grant it instead of check for errors, he'd just send a bottomless thermos or something.
For that matter I bet that Matrix or a automated sub-system or something would be able to get a storage device from the Warehouses golems or automata or whatever Joe got from that one Perk that were Fiat-backed to be able to craft storage devices as good as he could so yeah Uppercrust could totally request a planets worth of milkshake and have it delivered without it ever coming to Joes attention.
It was probably not assumed to have been Ex Nihilo creation, rather more likely to have been assumed to have been made out of remotely transported or discreetly stored materials, due to the books/work-stations own storage and transportation of materials.

It would be kind of redundant when she knows Circle Alchemy and Star Trek technology and Mechashift mechanics; like she can make her own workshop on command. If she doesn't know enough about architecture she can probably call up Matrix to help her make a Transmutation Circle based on architectural knowledge and a scan of the local geochemistry.
I swear that I've seen a few people making this mistake here; are people unaware that Circle Transmutation, Fullmetal Alchemist Alchemy, doesn't actually perform atomic transmutation?

I'm pretty sure there'll be some sort of conflict, but the way it has been set up it's more likely to be a confrontation between Joe/Parian/Garment than a physical attack on the venue.
I wish it was a villain attack, but I foresee a more painful even for everyone involved incoming.
Ed literally creates gold in one of the animes. It's so he can trick a corrupt army officer. One of the taboos is "Don't create Gold because it'll destroy the economy." Sure, he might have to use rock or something for the equivalent exchange, but he's still making gold.

Nah. What Ed made was actually just rocks coated with a very thin layer of gold. That was the entire point of the scam - when the guy checked his "gold" afterwards, he only found out that it was actually just a bunch of rocks.
What alchemy does provide in the basest form is a reliable way to analyze and deconstruct materials, but it isn't that big of a deal unless you're as ridiculous as Joe who could transmute a mountain's worth of material in one go. Regular alchemists can barely deal with a tonne of matter in general before things go awry.
(Though I suppose an alchemist with a working knowledge of nuclear physics can probably create a dirty bomb on their own. Just isolate the more fissile isotopes of Uranium and you just need to put 52 kilograms together to make everyone's day that much worse instantly.)

With Uppercrust making a contract with Apeiron it seems like Bastard Son also made a deal with Victor to figure out Alchemy. The spread and scope of Alchemy is probably going to be a big problem in the future. Also Cauldron should definitely know about it at this point.
Do you think with will be a separate weapon or will this be implemented into the Lantern Shield? I hope it gets implemented to the Lantern Shield, I rather into seeing that weapon get enhanced in ways that surprise and fascinate Joe. I believe this would make the Lantern Shield the combined product of 4 different universes.

So now has Apeiron shown proof of power tinkering to Uppercrust. He has already drawn lines to Dauntless power.
If Thurin-Ist's effect is leaked then its most probable that people will think that Apeiron got March's ability to obscure thinker effects. Then will they also be wondering if Apeiron 'only' got that single ability or does he now also have the ability to coordinate on a city wide scale.
Then Apeiron created an item for Uppercrust that obscures him and people's action that act on his behalf.
Which cape can obscure thinker analysis for themselves and everybody they coordinate? March.

Also to add a bit to this with my knowledge (because of a couple of videos XD), the prize of "truth" can't really be guessed before it happens you know? It include spiritual, material and symbolic prizes yes, because alchemy is like that in nature, but the thing is there is no "The Truth", thats just what we think of, instead there is "A Truth" for everyone, which is funnier if you think that ultimately, the truth is a version of themselves, so the one putting prize to things is themselves, not saying that all the prizes are arbitrary, but the symbology of them it is more related to the alchemist "inner light" thats a kind of enlightenment on the facts and working of nature, but also unique to every alchemist as is as much a reflection of the world as it is of them, well thats what i understand of those concepts at least.
Also he can get infinite magma, as he has an infinite supply, its just won't be enough to get it to "waterworks" levels of volumen (the moon). And Joe won't terraform nor will he do any kind of humanitarian work with that water, as far as i know, the earth has a limited amount of water and by changing the concentrations it can have really bad effect on the planet ecosystems and creatures that could potentially result in mass extinctions, less oxygen available in the atmosphere, huge desertification of certain areas and the unnatural growth of certain species, and all that is not considering the increase in water levels, i mean i understand the allure of being able to do it, but to trully make a good humanitarian work and not just a token effort, the ammount of water necessary would be too much in time, like a decade (far faster than the species can adapt to it), specially when he can probably do the same already, without using the warehouse pipes, with some filters and other supporting technology.

The funny thing is, he does have said ability. Blessing of Hera, aka "I can actually manage people now!" according to Joe.
It's feasible with enough pressure to escape the planet's gravity well, but with that volume of propellant it needs to be employed carefully to keep the planet's orbit from crossing the paths of any resulting large ice asteroids. The perk alone wouldn't come with that much pressure, but he has all that stellar energy to work with.
Fortunately for all involved, there is a rate limit on the hoses so it'd take about 190 days to deliver the apocalyptic milkshake and they would have time to correct the error.

I just checked chapter 3 of the manga (which should be as close to FMA canon as possible), Edward really did transmute the rocks into gold. He just transmuted it back into rocks before he left with the deed to the mine.

The thing is, I suspect Garment just will whip out her anit-S9 prototypes and solo will handle Teeth their collective asses on a silver Apeiron-grade plate. Thus also showing Parian that even in fight she is just as capable if not more than Parian.

That's got to be early installment weirdness then, because that breaks the Alchemy Law of Providence, where you can't change the innate makeup of a material you are transmuting. Turning rocks into gold is outright changing elements and would require at least a Philosopher's Stone if we're talking of alchemy from later on in the series. So yeah, I think it's closer to him just plating the rocks with gold because at least it doesn't create a plot hole in the process.
