Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Oh right, I forgot that Joe is actually a Heroic Spirit right now. Wait, is he a bonafide genuine Heroic Spirit that doesn't need class containers like a Servant? I don't know if this has been asked yet.

I remember someone saying that Servants are a pool, Heroic Spirits are a lake, and the Grand Servants are an entire ocean. Or was it the Divine Spirits?

As always when it comes to large rolls, I hope for Truth.
would be perfect if it happens before Viktor does what he does lol. Then oe coul really give him a reason you suck speech XD

Was I the only one who saw a potential endgame this chapter? Flooding the Workshop with fortune energy converts it to a Divine Realm. Any mortals that enter one are disintegrated. The Entities, despite all of their nonsense, are mortal. Turn the members of CF into gods, the Workshop into a Divine Realm, and teleport the Warrior into it. The Warrior disintegrates.
I was thinking more create a divine realm inside the shard space where the ai's are exploring an then...profit?

I really hope we get a chapter that isn't him in his tinker garage with the AI and Aisha info dumping for 10k words, hopefully with some actual engagement with the setting.

Class Jumper (Fate Servant Supplement) 50:
The Anomalous class. Possibly a hero of another world or many worlds. There is no common denominator to this class. It is the most unpredictable of the classes. They gain no base stats (Strength, Endurance, Agility, Mana, and Luck) above the E Rank base level (E x10 the human peak.). They gain a discount on one stat of their choice. They gain one Skill of their choice as their Class Skill (Territory Creation). Jumper also can pick Personalised Class Name for free. You get one C rank Skill (Magecraft) free and receive an E rank for free in any Class Skill you have according to your bought Class. You receive one C rank Noble Phantasm for free.
Territory Creation E - This skill allows the servant to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus. A Territory allows the creator to cast stronger spells at a reduced cost, with the effects increasing as the rank does
Magecraft C - Knowledge about modern Thaumaturgy
Noble Phantasm C - Works of Timeless Eternity: Mystic Forge, Anti-Unit (self)

Item Construction A+++ (Fate Servant Supplement) 550:
Item Construction is a Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items.
Really, I was barely more than a wraith. A scattered legend held loosely around whatever aspects of my own powers had connected with this particular source. As a Heroic Spirit I was among the weakest existences possible, but that didn't change the fact that I was a Heroic Spirit. I had been summoned from the Throne and I was a hero.

Or at least I used to be. The exact mechanism of what was happening here was beyond confusing. I had been a Heroic Spirit, summoned forth from the Throne of Heroes and manifested in the modern world. Not a particularly strong or cohesive one, barely more than a wraith, but still functional. But I wasn't that anymore.

Well, I was and I wasn't. In whatever had transitioned me from that spiritual manifestation to what I was now some things had been lost and others had been gained. I wasn't a spirit anymore. Because of that I wasn't immune to non-magical attacks and I couldn't dematerialize. I could still sense spirits, but only other Heroic Spirits, not spiritual beings in general. On the plus side, I had a living body, meaning I didn't have to worry about dissipating without the benefit of a contract and I could recover mana on my own.
Nope. His Class is Crafter and he is a more of a wraith than a proper Heroic Spirit (but still just barely makes the cut in being a Heroic Spirit), like the Hassans, but with a living body and the ability to generate mana at the expense of not being able to dematerialize or ignore non-magical attacks.
I also needed to deal with the inherent differences in terms that made any reliance on information from the show highly suspect. Most of it was fairly minor, but my power seemed to insist on defining summoned Heroic Spirits as 'Servants' and their summoners as 'Masters', terms that to my knowledge had never been used on Web of Magic. It wasn't a major point, but the emphasis on the term 'Servant' was a little jarring to deal with. A Crafter class 'Servant', not 'Spirit', with a 'Master' instead of a 'Summoner'.
Also, he defines himself as "a Crafter Class Servant", so he is definitely a Servant.

a collection of 'the Best of Mahogany Hall'
Does this include the memetic hazard version of "Pop Goes the Weasel" that is a contagious ear-worm that causes weasels to explode if it's hummed near them. If I remember correctly in Fallen London there's an event where you lose your pet prized fighting weasel to the song...
Quick question about this. Will this be following KLK logic where Kamui can be extremely dangerous to the user so, in their activated state, they have a signature skimpy appearance to minimize surface contact with the user's skin, which reduces the chance of being overwhelmed by the Life Fibers.....or will Joe's bullshit SuperTinker powers and boons make it a moot point? Because I kinda want to see the gags about saving the day in a skimpy outfit.
You forget "#1 Mom" Ragyō's Shinra-Kōketsu that is designed after a traditional Japanese wedding dress. So Garment can design a full cover one since Joe has so many ways to compensate vitality loss and Tetra having a personality counters any take-over issues.

I feel like you might have missed the last sentence of the chapter.
Aisha had just enough time to stick her tongue out at me before I moved through the steps of destination, determination, and deliberation and apparated to Uppercrust's hotel.
As far as pacing goes we're half way through the day out of the work shop and it's only taken 4 chapters. In addition to Upercrust next chapter we can also look forward to, therapy, Fleet and Tybalt going to meet with Faultlines crew, a check in from Lisa and the phone call from Alec. We also don't ever have to hear about aura training ever again. Overall compared to Monday, Tuesday is looking to be much faster paced.

Awesome! Nice chapter by the way! Loved the computer and wishes! If i may, can i ask who is going to be the next chapter? that is will we see joe POV or of uppercrust? (just in case the answer is yes, Lmao: who is going to be the next chapter? that is will we see joe POV or of uppercrust? )

She does have a range limit doesn't she? He could open a portal outside her range then have the stealth drones move inside to observe. A potential problem in this strategy would be detection by Mannequin who is like stealth god of Worm.

This perk I'm really hyped for tbh. Most Esper abilities aren't anything much but the rarer stronger ones are really bullshit even in comparison to Joe's current build.

Stuff like Dark Matter's imaginary matter with imaginary physics. Air molecules turn people to salt on contact, ordinary unamplified visible light burns skin on contact, physics now works this way lol. It could add a lot to Joe's crafting.

Or Accelerator's "PHYSICS THE POWER" if I understand it and it has a direction even if it's somehow a subatomic interdimensional supernova then it cannot harm me. A very powerful all or nothing effect for Joe to grant out.
While yes, she has a limit, it is a LARGE limit. As in, covers the entire city large according to wiki. So you would minimum need good telescope lenses to zoom in, or satellite since your sight lines most likely would break if you are far enough away from her to be unnoticed

I would think Apeiron's upgrades during construction/conversion to Kamui would make Tetra so powerful thins would loop around again and the Kamui would need to be skimpy to lower skin contact. There is so many quality enhancing perks and other things that it is kind of dizzying. Tetra would be divine twice over, a Teigu, an end game JRPG item, hybridized, continually growing with Heretical Adaption, have all over her properties increased many times over, likely be enhanced by Glove of The East, Elven Enchanting, Runes and elemental enhancement, dust infusion, likely have spiral power given to her, secret of steel, multiple miniaturization and efficiency methods, being empowered by Chimera Proteins, Element Zero, X-Com Psi-Ops tech, Valkukyr energy, turned into a Mystic Code, the list goes on.

Well, I have no problem with most of that list, but Spiral Energy... There Can Be ONLY One. I was hoping for Garment, but I'm betting it will be Aisha. Unless he gets in a more romantic type relationship...

The system that we had constructed in pursuit of our goal was a legitimate wonder, a miracle with unfathomable potential, and one that would be of vital importance.
The next confrontation with Dragon is going to go very differently. :D
But things were different now. It was hard for me to embrace the mindset, but the fact was, I was lucky now. It was an immutable fact, born by the abundance of fortune energy I carried. I didn't know exactly how far that luck could be pushed, but at the very least it should head off any major disasters, at least for long enough to prevent them from spilling over.
I wonder if this is going to have any actual effects on the roll mechanics?
I'm intrigued by the notion that Joe could duplicate Fortune Energy. I'm also curious what the dozen problems that turning Joe's personal reality into a divine realm would solve are. Seems like you would need to make everyone in the Forge a God for that to be safe though. Also it gives up the option of having visitors.
That's how I read it at first too, but after rereading I think he's trying to say that having enough fortune energy to turn the workshop into a divine realm would solve a dozen problems, without having to actually turn it into one.

Music Collection Sources (Ziggrrauglurr)
Surprised no one has commented on this yet.

Bakuda's signal isn't encrypted, it's Shard communication, and Joe is close to cracking it.

Can't imagine how that might have other impacts later on.

Is it? I think it's based on it, or perhaps a proto/simplified version of it... but I don't think it's certain that it's shardcomms... If it is, and Joe's decodes it, things could become very strange story wise, since he could start on communicating with rebel shards, and stuff...

There was a collection of Klingon opera, a CD from a boy band called the Achieve Men, a collection of 'the Best of Mahogany Hall', a full concert performance by 'Lynn Minmay', a self-titled album from a group called Priss and the Replicants, a country album from someone named Cherlene, a collection of astartes battle hymns, a longform performance of 'The Storm King' that came on a stack of phonograph records that stood three inches thick, a rap song about mole rats, a memorial album for someone named Kanade Amou, and a surprisingly wide sampling of alien music.

In other stuff, would anyone like to help me identifying where each thing is from?

Rap song about mole rats is from Kim possible. I don't know if there's anything from that setting tho.

The entire opportunity to directly utilize aspect of the Prismatic Laboratory's colors had grown from Aisha's stubbornness and sentimentality.

Aisha is smug whenever she's right, so be sure to have her gloat and brag.

Now isn't the right time, but Aisha needs to be all smug when Garment starts delving into Neathbow-color projects.

Aisha: (sing-song mockery) "I was riiiiight~! And you were wrooooong~!"
Joe: :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

The headlights flickered slightly as Garment actually climbed onto the hood of the vehicle, reminding everyone that the Zoids were still present and aware, even in vehicle mode. Apparently Dekalt wasn't sure what to make of Garment using it as a stage like a car-show model.
Garment continued to pose on the hood, doing her best to highlight how much better it would be for me to drive around in a gleaming silver sportscar.

o_O ?!?!

Could be fun if Garment's website did a video where she poses like a car-show model, using cars as an accessory or theatrical prop to accentuate her fashion style.

Not sure how Fleet will react to Garment's newfound love of automobiles. He has simple tastes and might get annoyed if the purity of his PHO car forums got "infected" with Garment's showroom pageantry.

Fleet hasn't been territorial about the garage area, but that might change if Garment keeps messing with his precious vehicles, like how siblings get enraged when a younger brother or sister enters their bedroom without asking for permission.

Fleet: :rage: "Oi! Get out of my garage!"
Garment: (rude hand gestures)

OR

Flechette: (ogles picture of Garment straddling a motorcycle)
Flechette: (doesn't notice Vista's arrival)
Vista: "What are you looking at?"
Flechette: (blatant lies) :o "I'M JUST READING NEWS ARTICLES!!!"
Vista: :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

Not to worry, there's a finite number of nodes in the Forge. Eventually Joe will have acquired them all, and presumably there will be plot.

There are nodes that can be taken as many times as they get rolled, so once Joe acquires them all, he can ONLY get the repeatable ones, infinitely.

Pretty big place you got here... "yeah, we keep expanding whether we like it or not, takes days to cross the woodworking shop."
