Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Lots of good introspective work this chapter. The quantum portal was interesting, I'm wondering if Survey accidentally found Clairvoyant spying on the 9, and attributed it to the 9 themselves. Joe is slowly putting the pieces together regarding Taylor, now he just needs to realize what Amy's power actually does, what modifications she needs to make in regards to Taylor, who Taylor needs to fight, and why Flechette is needed for that fight. (Also what Taylor's power's upper limit is) Admittedly, that's a lot of things he needs to figure out but he is slowly making progress on putting things together so far and has done good work on assembling the pieces.

Since Joe has left the workshop to go through his plans for the day the next 10-20 chapters or so should be really interesting between the upcoming meeting, then therapy, then his phone call with Alex (not that he knows about this one), and finally back to the workshop to make Tetra into a Kamui. It should be an exciting day followed by a day with the auction, starting Aisha's training, and the earliest timeframe for the S9 attack. (Also at least 1 villian team is going to make a move during the attack elsewhere in the city while the heroes are distracted)

Can he get around the problem with Cherish sensing through portals, by creating a portal far away, and parking a drone outside it to look through, rather than standing there himself?
No, not really. The point of the portals was to extend the range of short-range super sensors he has. To use them effectively from a distance. The problem with the portals is partly her possibly sensing them through the portals, but also that any extended range would alert her and the rest of the S9 that something is going on. The short-range sensors would need one end of the portals to be opened close enough to her that it would be noticeable.

The design was tweaked with They're Like Legos to be modular and even easier to modify and upgrade. Panzerkampf ensured that the Zoids, which were undoubtedly war machines, would perfectly in the face of anything short of direct and intentional damage.

Missing word somewhere near 'would perfectly', also reminds me of poor Chris and his assumption he's a junk tinker :(

"Okay." I admitted. "That was pretty cool. Tybalt meowed in agreement.

Missing endquote.

I knew she could handle herself, hand handled herself as both a cape and a civilian

had handled herself.

Wonderful chapter, love Tybalt being a dad to zoid-tooth tiger and the other miniature forms for the Zoids.

So their forms are zoid-style mechanical with weapons; robot unicorn attack style shiny and rainbow; semi-conspicuous vehicle forms; and the silver kitten, phone charm and prized coin? Lovely stuff :D

EDIT:

Nah that one was on purpose, he'd just mentioned an 'unstated' argument in the sentence beforehand.

but I wasn't prepared to start alerting sentient and possibly sapient beings with understanding what they wanted.
altering, without
but like with Fleet, the Matrix had built up a report with the Titans.
rapport
I could see Tetra roller her glowing red eyes
roll
And also see the now-stated argument as infrared transmissions began bouncing between Tetra and the Workshop's receivers.
started

The only of the Zoids with a second organic form, the Zaber Fang's discrete form involved it collapsing into the tiniest silver kitten imaginable, complete with two tiny incisors jutting from its mouth.
Not discrete would attract moar attention.
100% what a cat would do
You know, at this point it really took something for the scale of anything to impress me. The idea that, with the right setup, Taylor could control every bug in every permeation of reality, yeah. That did it. That was something on the scale of the Celestial Forge.
So close yet so far.

Was I the only one who saw a potential endgame this chapter? Flooding the Workshop with fortune energy converts it to a Divine Realm. Any mortals that enter one are disintegrated. The Entities, despite all of their nonsense, are mortal. Turn the members of CF into gods, the Workshop into a Divine Realm, and teleport the Warrior into it. The Warrior disintegrates.

The warrior is a projection. The actual entity is planet big I think. The workshop is only at a few cities big, right?

Oh, the wonderful opportunities this power creates!! 😂🤣😂

Jack: "You think you have it bad? Since he got me, I've been getting at least a dozen papercuts a day! Jack Slash is being hobbled by paper and it's making me miss, damn it!!"
Contessa: "Oh, please! At least you didn't have the indignity of walking out of a portal only to slip on dog poop because your hat slid down over your eyes, and in front of a news crew of all places!!"
Joe: "Would this be a bad time to mention that since then, I've won millions of dollars through casinos? Now I feel bad. Here, take some money and-" Jack immediately cuts himself on the bills, somehow losing a finger. "You know what, I'm just gonna go."

Also, Joe about to walk into an important meeting with a healthy amount of banked points. Any bets or hopes on what power(s) he'll end up latching onto? I'm hoping for Erudition or Truth myself.
I really hope it's the percy jackson capstone. I think its glory to the legion....or me? I can't remember and to tired to check wiki. Night all.

I know his cybertronian form will essentially appear as a combiner in his workshop, but the mental image of Jozef just being replaced by a Semi-truck with zero warning is hilarious

missing"
With Cherish's presence on the Nine it created a difficult situation.
presence in the Nine
Through her experience with enhancement from the striker system, Aisha has mentioned the possibility of being able to extend her power to additional memory applications, though on a limited range.
though in a limited?
I knew she could handle herself, hand handled herself as both a cape and a civilian, but I couldn't help but worry a little.
had handled herself?
