Okay. I must admit something. It's kinda awkward, but... well, you know, better some awkwardness than diminishing enjoyment of the story. How exactly is Kaworu responsible for Rei not being able to tell Shinji and Asuka about stuff? It feels like I have completely missed something. I mean, just because he is there doesn't mean the general "security situation" isn't changed. SEELE is near-all-powerful with or without Kaworu in Japan...
And what an emotional whiplash chapter. First part: All the feels. And really,
all the feels. And then, second part, all the laughter.
Now, after having just read both A&T up to this point and ACoS to nearly up to date, details get a bit blury about what is used when, but you are really overusing this metaphor: "He'd seen Asuka without her clothes a lot over the last few months, but never this naked." Oh, and Rei does seem a bit... very human. I suppose it could in fact be because she's modeling her behaviour on Asuka, but... that change is still rather quick, all things considered. Not that seeing such a Rei when all things are said and done wouldn't be lovely, but within a span of, what, some weeks after she got off her drugs and started social interaction? It doesn't really disturb by suspension of disbelief, and of course it generates funny, but still, yeah...

Now, as for the comments. Oh man. I definitely should have joined that thread earlier. Your people are all genius....
Granted Evageeks and Evangelion.wikia are virtually verbatim on the subject but they say EVA-02 started to berserk before the Mass Production units voiced their objection to Asuka's continued heroics.
EVA-02 twitched one hand a bit. I'd rate that as one tenth of a Berserk run,
at best. So okay, EVA-02 has 0.1 berserk runs, maybe.
Kaworu: Rei is very attractive when angry! Telling her this makes her even angrier and even more beautiful!
Shinji: What.
Shinji,
of all people, would understand this very well I think
That's like giving a suicidal person a gun when one knows they are suicidal and then going 'totally wasn't my fault' when they inevitably turn up in the morgue.
True, but even though Rei III may have been the most... complete of all Reis (Ree?), she still would not have thought in such terms.
Ah, my poor, poor opponent.
Oh, hey, I know! An OT4 that goes on a tour of seeking revenge!
