I was gonna undersell this, but let's be real.
100% probability of both Asuka and Rei going "Aw, HELL naw!" at Shinji and Kaworu under the mistletoe. Asuka will be thinking "Only person kissing Shinji is ME and sometimes Rei!" Rei, on the other hand, will be thinking "Only person kissing Shinji is ASUKA and sometimes me! The twist here is that a small part of Rei will be thinking at the same time "Only person kissing Kaworu is ME!" She will then be put unease at that defensiveness and desire and will then double-down on Kaworu being an interloper on Shinji rather than the other way around to distract herself from it.

Now I'm out of patience. I said stop. 'I'm just responding' is not an excuse or a justification. If you think another user's post was a shot, you report it, as Fernandel advised. You do not start more shit, especially after a warning to knock it off. I don't like having to do this in my own thread. 25 points and 2 days threadban.
I sat down to write. I sat down to write cute Christmas WAFF. Instead I got 'he hit me back!' and more of exactly what I tried to warn about. So no post today. Writing time used up.
I'm thinking an 8:00am San Diego fog.
There is way more fun for someone like Touji to walk in on this. I have this vague notion that Kensuke would not make a fuss. Not sure where that came from though. Misato on the other hand.... Oh boy.
Asuka might go into "Die TROUT!" mode, but who knows what Rei might do. She might be just a little curious to see how things shake out.

Hmm... Rei will see Shinji and Kaworu on intersecting courses that will put them under the mistletoe at the same time. She'll dash in to the rescue, intending to body-check Kaworu out of the way, claiming an "innocent" kiss from Shinji in the process. Instead, Shinji and Kaworu notice each other at the last second and move, resulting in Rei knocking Shinji out of the way instead, finding herself under the mistletoe with Kaworu and looking to everyone else like she was very interested in being there. Perhaps, but I find it funnier to picture Shinji getting hit by a block meant for Kaworu and launched 15 feet airborne to land safe but dazed on the sofa... and Kaworu misunderstanding the custom, and kissing Rei square on the lips.

Add one more Scene partially done, which may have been the complete ending scene once I got done with it, but it is trapped on the laptop that is still dead. Since it might be a couple of days before I can get this thing repaired if at all, here is the scene I do have complete off of my GDocs back up. This may be the last update for a couple of days, until I fix this.

"Hikari was real cagey about what this was all about. You know what's going on, Shin-man?"
Shinji shrugged, and stirred the pot of soup on the stove in Rei's kitchen. "Asuka was tight lipped for me too, sorry. She just said it was some Christmas tradition she wanted to do that she'd never had a chance to before. But that's not much of a hint, since I don't know much about Christmas traditions at all."
Touji nodded along. "Yeah, if it ain't in a TV show or movie, Christmas is just some foreign thing to me." He looked out into the living room, where Kensuke and his girlfriends were sitting, playing some board game. "Maybe Sakura-san knows some? Her dad's a Christian priest, I think."
Shinji shook his head. "I thought of that too. I tried when they arrived. She just started giggling, and grabbed Kensuke and Miki-san and dragged them into the living room. They keep looking back here and snickering, though..."
Touji looked slightly worried. "Um... now I'm nervous."
"It can't be anything too crazy if Asuka, Hikari, and Rei are involved... right?" Shinji tried.
"I dunno, I think your girlfriend is having a weird influence on mine." Touji thought about it for a second. "Not that I'm complaining, y' understand. Those swimsuits..."
The door to what would have been his room in Misato's apartment, and was Rei's 'dressing room' slid open, and Asuka's Christmas surprise was revealed.
Asuka herself marched out in the lead, grinning, with Hikari and Rei in tow behind her. The First, Second, and Fourth Children all wore variations on the traditional red and white 'Santa' outfit, complete with fur-trimmed hats.
Shinji tried vainly to close his jaw. It had dropped open as soon as Asuka appeared, and refused to stop gaping in surprise.
Asuka was making the 'Santa' look work. "Merry Christmas!" she announced to the partygoers. She planted her hands on her hips and let everyone marvel at her and the other Pilots.
Beside him, Shinji could hear Touji gulp. Hikari looked pretty good in her outfit too. "Oh, I hope I've been a good boy..."
Asuka caught Shinji's eye and winked. Now he could close his mouth, since all he could do was smile.
