Boundary Passage is actually pretty cheap as these things go, and the Great Library consumes culture and mysticism that will be regenerated or refunded per turn. We can totally pull this off. It's Classical Law that shouldn't be done while we're doing multiple projects since it's pretty expensive.

Law's only 1 Culture and 1 Mysticism more expensive than the Library. we could almost pay for both with our current Culture income and Mysticism Refund.
Well, there is a Main Expand Econ to counter that.
I do want more EE tho.

We need more that a single Main Expand Econ to reactive the cities, and we have plenty of EE already. Plus, the Yeomen are VERY likely to take LTE positive action on their own next turn.

Just to be clear, can we take multiple Mega Tracks at once with our GA?

Yes.

A question about this - it says Yeomen approve.

It doesn't say Priests do, just that they gain power from it.

Is "Priests approve" implied by that, or do they not really care?

Gaining power automatically improves mood unless there is something else going on.

No Prestige opportunities for the Gilded Age?

Nope, didn't roll well enough.

So, current stats:

General
Diplomacy 27/27 [+4]
-Intrigue 4 [+1]
Economy 17/27 [+1+4]
-Sustainable Forests 33{40}/34.5 [+5]
-Econ Expansion 25 [-8] [Overcrowding Min: -5]
Martial 7 (+1)/39 {37/40}
-Light Cavalry 6
Naval 1
Wealth 22/25 [+7]

Cultural
Culture 27/27 [+6]
Mysticism 20/27 (+3)[+3]
Tech 26/27 (+7) [-5]
Prestige 122

Stability
Stability 2/3 (optimistic)
Legitimacy 3/4 (regular max)

Organizational
Centralization 8/10
Hierarchy 8/10
Religious Authority 9 {12}/13

We need to have Econ Expansion below 14.5 to get our cities back. We'd do that with a combination of:

[] [Parl] Cement Production Subsidies (Main Increase Cement Production, Patricians disapprove)
[] [React] Farm (Sec Expand Econ)
[] [PSN] Main Plant Cash Crops - Textiles (-2 Centralization + Costs)

That would leave us on E: 17 and EE 14, W25, T18 before refunds. It would be one of the best ways to get a Cement factory in the near term

A second React Farm would get us to E 24 and EE 7, so every city would activate, costing us more Tech.

We don't need extra forests at the moment.

If we want to get cities back, we need to Plant Cash Crops.

[X] [Parl] Fair Land Allocation Act (Main Distribute Land, Patricians and Yeomen approve)

Tis the right and just thing to do, and it has wide support.

[X] [React] Brag (Sec Salt Gift)
[X] [React] Praise the Gods (Sec Build Temple)
[X] [React] Contact Harmurri (Sec Diplomatic Mission)

Temples, as we are beyond lacking in that area, while gift and diplo to bring the hamuri into our sphere, them being in a civil war will mean that this massive financial boost is gonna turn them into proto client state or a one generation puppet.

[X] [PSN] Main Expand Forest (-2 Centralization + Costs)

To further butter up the priests and the rural folks, as well as address the timber concerns.

[X] [Lesson] The bonds between warriors

A bit of martial pride, honour and camaraderie goes a long way, and it will have a positive seeping effect into the culture at large, and maybe help set the military as its own faction, distinct from the others. This detachment from factions will help kings greatly in setting the army as loyal to their person, rather than the faction that makes it.

[X] [Diplo] Begin Boundary Passage Megaproject in its own action track (-12 Diplo)

Might as well, its a nice bit of much-needed infrastructure.

[X] [Culture] Gain a Cultural Genius (-20 Culture)
[X] [Culture] Gain a Cultural Hero (-15 Culture)
Iv talked at very great lengths before about the need for courtly cutlture and the idea of rule by cultural influence as opposed to centralised power, well now, this here is the prime time do do so, a courtly culture will make the king wield tremendous powers, and ymar are hilaroiusly primitive when it comes to courtly culture, a consequence of never having had a culture oriented monarch, or even any investments in the arts for millenia, not to mention the focus of bueacracy above all else, and the minimal standing of militarism and the clregy, which are the traditional venues for artistic development in the absence of monarchal patronage. simply put ymar art is laughably primitive compared to practically everyone around us, so let's fix that.

[X] [Mystic] Gain a new Spiritual Value slot (-15 Mysticism)

Everyone knows why this is important, iv harped codexes about it before, and ill say again that slots are vital, more than absolutely anything else, they offer flexibility, synergy and resilience on the cultural and societal and theological front in addition to all the bonni .

Great Boundary Passage don't conflict since it's only 2 econ. But Classical Law and Great Library do since both consume myticism and culture.

Boundary Passage [Yeomen] - 5-8? action commitment, -2 Econ per action
Classical Law – 5-8? Action commitment, -4 Mysticism & Culture per action
Great Library [Priests] - 5-7? action commitment, -3 Mysticism and Culture per action, 0/2 Econ commitment

@Academia Nut
Is our current Centralization cap 10? By my calculations it should be 12.5 (round down to 12)
5 base, -0.5 provinces, +7 roads, -2 palaces +3 legacy

This actually really matters since we have the opportunity to turn on all of our cities here.

What is with the inflation here? Why is everything more expensive? :(

[X] [Parl] Cement Production Subsidies (Main Increase Cement Production, Patricians disapprove)

This seems fine. I'd like to get a free progress on the Dam or something, since we're guaranteed starting at least one more Mega.

[X] [PSN] Main Expand Econ (-2 Centralization + Costs)
[X] [React] Farm (Sec Expand Econ)

Absolutely critical. React Expand Econ + PSN Expand Econ gets four of our cities online, which means four more player actions.

[X] [React] Celebrate (Sec Improve Annual Festival)
[X] [React] Contact Harmurri (Sec Diplomatic Mission)

Hopefully this synergizes with Philosopher King's and Academies.

[X] [Diplo] Begin Boundary Passage Megaproject in its own action track (-12 Diplo)

Boundary Passages seems alright, but it's not amazing or anything and we still have to do the Canal. We also may want to not spend stats for overflow reasons.

[X] [Culture] Begin Classical Law Megaproject in its own action track (-12 Culture)

No brainer.

[X] [Mystic] Begin Great Library Megaproject in its own action track (-12 Mysticism)

Some tempting options here, but going with Great Library seems wise. It's been hinted to get us Hospitals, and it would likely make Libraries better in some way. Hopefully it improves the refunds, so we can spam Academies harder.

Lots of votes, but simple ones. Really enjoyed this update for the world building too.

Can we send both diplo missions? It'd be good to get an idea of how the Freehills are doing as well as perhaps get an opportunity to influence the Harmurri succession crisis.

I'd rather not crush our culture overflow like that-we need it in order to pay for the -5 tech drain/turn we've got going. Pick one megaproject, I think.
