Umm, maybe it grows where we are and not India? Anyway, what other spice of that description comes from treebark, Max? In any case, not!India is probably a hell of a lot hotter than it is IRL given how geography is shifted.Eh, cinnamon wouldn't take in the Mediterranean, and if we managed it by some miracle, where the hell did we get the saplings from? We don't have routes to India, and people don't trade saplings usually, certainly not national treasure saplings.
Hence why I am voting for levy. Forhcuh is not the real target right now. He is practice. Hopefully a warm up that allows us to work out the kinks in our force. Turn this levy into an army.If the Forhcuh somehow manage to fall apart before we can fully assemble our levy, at least we'll be in a great position to crush the HK.

...why would we not be? We're at max wealth, we're only spending 3, and we can exchange up to 5 tech for wealth to "keep wealth topped off". Unless i missed something or AN changed things since i last looked?I think it is unlikely that we will be at max wealth anyway, since it seems that the exchange is 1 wealth for 1 tech. It is also a chance to innovate efficient production process.

What happens if we spend wealth or econ while mass levy is active?
More that other than calling up the levies and kicking, there's not much more we can do.

Not quite, our income in the brackets still works, but actions like Expand Economy are disabled.
The war's going to be a bloodbath based on our previous experience.
It's not like we can do more. We are going all out for this war.
The last time we fought nomads we only crushed them cause plague. The war's going to be a bloodbath based on our previous experience.
Agreed. And Greenshore is a lush place with a decently hot climate as a result of our latitude and a decently moist one as a result of the mountains backing it trapping the humidity from mares nostrum.Umm, maybe it grows where we are and not India? The reason it was even a competition at all is because everyone had the worst plague the world had ever seen. It was called the Horseman Plague for a reason. The last time we fought nomads we only crushed them cause plague.
And a nation of nomads is likely greater a single Tribe.

...I'm not sure how that affects my point, which is specifically worry about the fact that if i remember right, our last guilded age came after only half a turn at max wealth, instead of a full turn? ANd if that is the case, and we take the option you prefer, we will trigger a guilded age? And (again, assuming i remember right, and i dont really care enough to check all the diffs i'd have to to confirm it) again if i remember right, the stab hit is immediate. Which means that we'd take an extra stab hit. That's why i asked AN, though he seems to be busy.Wealth and econ generation will be turned off for the duration of the war. We might consider spending some on cavalry for instance.
Yeah, its specifically "Expand Econ and most Wealth generating actions disabled while this policy active."Not quite, our income in the brackets still works, but actions like Expand Economy are disabled.
I hope we get some good prestige from this and that they actually remember this time. If they are turning into a nation that should mean a better memory right? The last time we fought nomads we only crushed them cause plague.

On the contrary, it seems exactly right. Rage Against the Steppes and all that. And hopefully HK sees what happens to Forhuch and goes crawling back into their little hidey-holes for a couple centuries. We are about the assemble the largest fighting force that this part of the world has ever seen.
To stomp some upstart almost nomand. It doesn't seem right.
I'd consider the cost of one stability per turn to be worth the Wealth income, at the moment.Yeah, its specifically "Expand Econ and most Wealth generating actions disabled while this policy active."
