That would require 7 level 2 Cities. We need at least 2 Government upgrades before that IMO. And probably a Tech related megaproject.

Ehhhh, it's closer than you think. Especially once we get the canal finished. Valleyhome, Lower Valleyhome, and Valleyguard will be able to build Block Housing, if I understand the geography correctly.
 
The earliest Organized Religions are kind of vulnerable to that, by design. The fact that you took a very laissez-faire attitude and it developed Syncretism means that it's pretty much going to serve as a way for other groups to nucleate their own regional religions using the theological developments of the People as fuel.
That sounds rather problematic, as it seems as though other regions will be using the whole "all are one" thing as a framework, but none of the values associated with our religion will spread to those other regions.

So everyone else will get more powerful religions, but Ymaryn values won't really spread all that far.

The nomads literally have a trait that is 'all the heroic martial kings'. We need to assume that the threat of a tribe led by a heroic martial nomad potentially invading us is possible at all times. This means March up ASAP and more light cavalry are both things we need.

Still need more people to switch or vote for scouts for us to not be playing chicken with military because we 'totally have time before the nomads attack us'.

Plus I honestly like the narrative of establishing inter-vassal trade network via Bazaar, even if it's probably a bit too early to call it a truly interconnected trade network.
And loyalty is nice too I guess? I mean, the vote could just give us "Establish better trade with vassals (???)" and I'd be all but hugging it.

@Academia Nut , what is the narrative of Trade Excitement? How does it compare to Spreading the wealth?
 
Note I was responding in the context of the thing notgreat was quoting. Though I did forget that that wasn't for last turn.
I was using that quote specifically because it had 6 actions (+1 from doubling), in contrast to last turn's which only had 5.

What he's voting, not the current leader. Same with me really. Getting a Golden Age (and +10 wealth) is worth so much more than 0.5 average loyalty per subordinate that I'm not going to compromise myself by strategically voting for the inferior option.

You aren't voting in a vacuum, no good new arguments for voting in wealth +stability are coming up and it is way behind, so what you are doing is supporting a vote that will risk us not being able to build a march next turn.

I have serious issues with people voting in any way that threatens to leave what is basically a highway for nomads into our vassals undefended, especially when we are dealing with nomads that are getting light cavalry and a constant stream of heroic martial leaders.

I am surprised "it can wait one more turn whats the worst that could happen" is not a quest tag by this point.

Couple things:

It's not going to win, I know that with pretty large certainty since we've essentially reached peak voter population which means that me voting one way or another is not very high up on my list of priorities. And I really don't appreciate someone getting on me about it just because I am not doing what they are. (E: the fact that it is way behind basically invalidates the second part of your first paragraph, since if it is far enough back to be way behind it is far enough back to not be a risk)

And if what I am voting somehow did win the very next thing I would push for would be a March, because I actually share your viewpoint.
