Remind me?
You do.I mean, don't get me wrong but do we know if Maya has her parent's permission to learn how to fight with ki? Now that they know ki is a thing and that she used it to fight aliens.
I do notice this only answer if we know or not, not the answer.Does she have it?
Lost.
I mentioned previously that you had spoken to them and secured permission, so yes, you know and she does.I do notice this only answer if we know or not, not the answer.Does she have it?
Ah. In that case, @mithril-blade's vote is not being counted, either. Thank you for informing me.
That said, you're right. grumbles about first past the post
[X] The time has finally come. You need to talk to Dandeer again.
-[X] Ask Dad and Grandma for advice. Doubles as insurance as they know what's happening.
-[X] Also, double-check that Jaron actually got permission for the training. If he didn't, you'll offer a formal apology to Dandeer, because whatever your feelings for her are, it was genuinely negligent on your part.
-[X] Talk to Dandeer in private about Jaron and his wish to fight.
-[X]Also ask her about her long term plan. The current situation does not seem tenable long term. Jaron can't be kept in an infantile state of dependency forever, and the Vegetans obviously aren't happy with him not being allowed to train.
The issue isn't he being a boy, its his mother being Dandeer. If Maya was a boy and Jaron a girl we'd probably still be in this situation. Only with a little less teasing.Mafuba should probably be added to lost techniques.
You know, if he were a cute girl I bet we would already be training Jaron instead of bothering with Dandeer. Double standards!
The wiki's compulsive need to put a name to every sub-type of punch is not reflective of this quest. Thus:More totally legit techniques:
Hammerhead (As a Tien stylist, I'm sure we'll be able to figure out what the hell he was thinking)
Volleyball Attack (Again, Tien's creativity is a shining example to us all)
Recoome Kick (It's a knee strike that's secretly a kick!)
Imprisonment Ball (This one's actually legit vs groups of people with a leader)
Electric Kamehameha (I think it's just a fancier Kamehameha, possibly drawing on the Thunder Shock Surprise?)
The wiki's compulsive need to put a name to every sub-type of punch is not reflective of this quest. Thus:
Not a thing
Not a thing
Never known in the first place
Lost
Not a thing (the, "electric," part of it was only ever added in video games; I don't count it).
I think it's mostly mentioned because it gets used in one or two combination attacks, where the target is compressed into a ball or otherwise rendered unable to prevent being thrown around like a volleyball.
Oh, that's so much better, goodness knows I haven't only just now trash-talked the canonicity of game-only attacks.
Just moving really fast. Right there in the description. "Afterimage Technique (残像拳, Zanzōken, lit. "Afterimage Fist") is an ability to move so swiftly that an image of the user is left behind."
Actually, I think the volleybal attack is from the manga. I think it was used in the 22nd tournament but I would have to check to be sure.
Yeah, but I meant originally from the manga rather than added in the anime version. The wiki entry that got linked in the first place says it was.
Because people expecting Dandeer to be reasonable of all things isn't going to work.
