I'm pretty sure we could convince them with a very simple argument: THere is a war going on. If their children are given Ki training, they will be safe from stray bullets.

"How dare you try to make our children into child soldiers!"

-a not unreasonable parent being told you want to make their children bullet proof in a war.

Being bullet proof is one of those things that it is better to have and not need then to need and not have.

Don't know how long it would take to train them. Goku took years to get beyond 100 and he is a natural talent. Of course we are likely a better trainer, but there are likely many humans that just don't have a talent for ki.

Being bulletproof is good. Trying to tell the parents 'let us train your kids, until they are devastating in a military context, during an active war where the government might want to recruit them as a result', has a noticeable flaw in terms of 'would necessarily convince'.

"Like they could recruit them while they're under my protection?" *eyebrow arch*

Goku was rather weak by Saiyan standard, and the art of teaching Ki has been refined over the centuries.

Besides, we just need them to get up to, like, 20 with awakened Ki for them to be safe from most things.

Well if the parents agree then we roll them into the train Maya action if not well we are busy.

By the way, while we're on the subject of ties with other people, I was archive-browsing and saw this:

Sci-Fi - Dragon Ball: After the End | Page 230

Basically, just a reminder that Kakara has really strong family ties and that this can be helpful for us in a variety of ways. Worth remembering as we think about what goes into our plans for the upcoming year, I hope.

I've already been advocating bonding with Mato.

I have two daughters, and if they could telekinetically crush each other's cereal, they would TOTALLY do so, without a second thought. Because they love each other, and I've learned that the love between siblings is a many-faceted thing, full of nuance and subtleties.

Some people might say my kids try to tear each other limb-from-limb regularly. But I see it for what it is.

Darn I missed raging at the Dandeer defense that came up a bit ago. Still think she's a dirty liar, but some of what we know about her side of the sealing has to be true, just not how much exactly (probably bits of her insane pro "family" motivation)

[X] What will be

That's a very long answer, but suffice it to say that she is a competent fighter trained in the Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha styles, along with the involved techniques thereof.
So we could have learned Multiform way quicker if we had not kept it secret? Well that bites.

Does she know mind Delve? Would like to learn that.

eh. on the upside, we can ask for training in the Tien style next year, make a lot of progress there and level Multiform with 1 action.

and mind delve is something that i dont think we want to learn if only because it is so similar to (and just as invasive as) our mind projection.

Mind Delve would likely be safer think to Mind Projection, and it's kinda required for when we become Lady.

Really wish that had been mentioned at the time. I recall at the time people saying that there was no downside to keeping it secret and when I asked you if keeping it secret was giving us a penalty to training you said no.
Wasn't it kind of obvious? I mean, what's the point of a "Teacher" skill, otherwise...?

That's because it's not giving you a penalty. You're purposefully refraining from availing yourself of a masterful teacher, but that doesn't mean Kakara gets less talented than baseline.

Eh, there's no actual difference between a penalty, and a lack of a bonus.

Or rather, the lack of said bonus is a penalty?

Though, again, why the secrecy?

Just went back and checked. Before my time I joined the quest on page 328.

Now I finally understand why @PoptartProdigy kept saying that we kept the secret of Multiform at any cost. To me it looked like it had no cost. I suspect it looked like that to most readers.

In fairness, keeping Multiform secrets has had pretty maassive benefits in the conspiracy to get rid of Jaffur's seal.
