It's something useful that can be done and then ignored for the next half a milinneia, it also has potential for architectural and engineering innovations.
Isn't that what we have defense passive policy for?

I can get wanting more walls, but we currently get a passive increase in walls every turn, and walls don't have any immediate benefits to the war with HK.

Also, a better way to get engineering innovations is to build the Dam/Canal.

But you know I am rather surprised at the overwhelming support for arte.
I mean you guys did your best demonising aristocracy, but now you jump at it?

Finishing in 5 turns is better than 10, and allows us to switch passives.

Specifically, beatings are a socially accepted punishment for Wrongful Shipping, which I think is something we can all relate to.

Are you saying you do not ship them?
Also while i'm really needing to sleep, @BungieONI or @Umi-san or @Sivantic or @veekie , one of you check the math to see if we can start docks with our guild action and still get wealth up higher? We'll only need at most 2 of our 3 possible megaproject actions from provinces for the games, afterall

If it kicks out Poppies, passive trade still has us receive 4 wealth.

Out of curiosity, what is eating the other point of wealth? One is Red Banner Mercenaries, what is the other?

We're going to be very low on Diplomacy as a result of the International Games. Are we sure we don't want the guild action to be Build Docks?

noh.

Next turn we are going to punch the Highlanders. While our other hand gouges out their eyes. And our knee crushes their nuts.

Vengeance is a cruel mistress.
Actually an honest question from me, someone who also wants to beat the shit out of them.

How far do you want to go?

I want to take some territory south of the Cataracts so we can link up with Txolla-chan more, and take their west passes and tin mines.

We Have Reserves
The People are well served by having a large contingent of warriors, although these warriors are also drawn in part from the labouring classes, such that losses can negatively affect productivity
Pros: Gain +1/3 of Econ as bonus Martial, chance of negating Martial (and thus Econ) damage dependent upon Econ strength
Cons: Damage to Martial can carry over to Econ (additional damage from Honour of Elites does not count)
@Academia Nut This needs to be updated.

Written Code of Laws (Copper Age) -> Written Code of Laws (Iron Age)
With a code stretching back to the Copper Age, the Laws of the People have a truly ancient pedigree, but have been updated to better deal with the changes brought by an increasingly urbanized and monetized world. With the guiding principles of justice being the health of the community, the crown finds itself compelled to spend upon the community, but that efforts to improve the community are improved. Carry over of prior effects improving Enforce Authority to Enforce Justice, the doubling of one policy action, the 'Megaproject support' policy. New effects: player chosen Infrastructure policies doubled (one action only for active policies), one additional passive infrastructure policy always active (effect not doubled), -1 Wealth each turn.

Nothing short of death as an independent polity. Weather by annexation or subjugation.

Are you really surprised, given my vocal support for a certain other (objectively superior, if you ignore the unfortunate parts) pairing?

One of the weaknesses of my Shipping Goggles is that they really aren't good at supporting multiple ships. They have a nasty habit of OTP'ing and seek to remove any complications that might stand in their way-

Law. Also looking at the winning plan more, it'll actually only lose 3 expansion to overflow I'd pop explosion pays out without/before downgrading, which is actually good cause it'll keep sacred forest around. So count me in on he bandwagon when I wake up and have energy to copy paste :p

[X] [Mega] Upgrade Best of the Best to Life of Arete
[X] [Main] International Games
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] Change Policy - Megaproject Support
[X] [Guild] Plant Poppies

[Main] War Mission
[Secondary] Terrify
[Secondary] Expand Forests
[Guild] Grand Docks
I'd go [Secondary] Salt Gift- Highland Kingdom (civilians)
Because we want to win the hearts&minds of the populace. We crush their leadership and convince the civilians that we're the good guys. Plus...
It would be the equivalent of teabagging someone, in that you are showing such utter dominance over them you are sending a gift while fighting them.
