Even if we vassalize them we won't be immune to them trying to backstab while we're distracted. We'd need to eradicate any concept of them being an independent entity.

So how good are the odds doing a 2XMain Raise Army with a genius martial leading to systematic military reform as an expert basically builds a self-contained fighting force to her own specifications? Can we get the Ymenya Reforms?

I think it's just more likely that she spawns a new Elite Unit type. Probably a Heavy Infantry or Shock Infantry unit.

Man, a fucking Berserker Unit in heavy armor with heavy weapons would be devastating, especially when backed by our conventional forces and irregulars.

We pull a Xoh on their capitol.
Then we force our laws and religion on them, make them a colony after several influence actions and then fill them to the brim with Ymaryn immigrants.

They'll be a broken people, minorities within their own nation

Since An said we'll get a CB against the highlanders when this is over I'm willing to make peace with them for now, but those fucks are going to pay for their backstabbing ways.

@Academia Nut did any of our provinces decide to use a Terrify action this turn, seems like we might get a bit more mileage out of it then usual. Also is our Heroic Mystic king still alive?

I'm not so sure, despite her weird fits and rage, she's all about waging an aggressive war of maneuver - if she does simply settle for not completely overhauling the army entire- she's going to be overhauling our horsemen and chariots.

Because we're now officially fielding horsemen in combat enough for it to be outright mentioned.

@Academia Nut is this kind of thing (a willingness to use the environment to our advantage in conflict) going to be included in officer training for future generations? Sounds kind of like a Martial aspect of Shapers to be honest.

we havent even finished one turn- we're not even to the proper midturn yet. This all happened in a couple years
 
The TS and Highlanders didn't think this through if the khem had won then they would continue to push this territory and when we win we are going to punish the hell out of them for the actions they took.

Honestly, you kinda have to facepalm at both of them deciding to attack. They tried to attack a Great Power because they thought it would be too busy fighting another Great Power, only to find out what the difference in power is between a normal civ and one considered a Great Power.
