@Academia Nut, do the chiefs of the Stallion Tribes and Heaven's Hawks think we should hire out the Red Banner to the Metal Workers even if it'll likely trigger war in order to deny the nomads iron?

MW negaverse: We finally discovered Iron!
LW negaverse: How about not invading those folks who can ride horses and wield iron, and destroyed a city?
MW: Oh shit!

[X][Free] Convert Greenshore to colony
We need to start moving towards the Metalworkers.

We need Tech for the Law.
This doesn't produce any Tech for the Law; what's your plan there?
*S: -2 Econ, -2 Econ Expansion, +1 Tech, +1 Mysticism, +2 Diplo if have boats, +1 Econ next turn
Also the provinces have a free secondary so that's likely to be spent on +Tech.

Hemp gives us the necessary +1 Tech while also being net +3 stats instead of Support Artisan's net +1 (plus innovation chance). edit: And it keeps Sacred Forest as a True City, providing additional innovation anyway

[X] [Main] The Law (Iron Age)

Might as well start since we are on mega project support. Plus our provinces will take culture boosting actions for us.

[X] [Secondary] Found Mercenary Company

Lets us integrate the Stallions next turn and station this company on Tinriver and the Redbanner on Greenshore.

[X] [Secondary] New Trails

Reach a new cent cap and not let it fall by the wayside.

[X] [Free] Change Passive Policy - Special: Vassal Support (+1 Subordinatewhile active, increases Loyalty whileactive at less than full subordinates)

Vassal support gets stronger and more nuanced the longer its on.

[X] [Greenshore] Convert to Colony

Its been a long time coming.

[X] [Main] The Law (Iron Age)
[X] [Free] Change Passive Policy - Defence (+1 significant walls/turn)
[X] [Secondary] Support Artisans
[X] [Secondary] Proclaim Glory
[X] [Secondary] Aqueduct Redshore
[X] [Red Banner] Metal Workers
[X][Free] Convert Greenshore to colony

Hmm, not many ways to actually drop enough Expansion except as Poppies with a main. And I don't want to do that, ehh I think Baby Boom will save it though can someone please inform me I've forgotten when it pays out again.
I hope I can push through Aqueducting Redshore up though I am fine doing it on the mid turn.

The provinces would go for tech options to support the Law, so not much problem there. Sides, the sub-states might take other new options too.

But seriously passive forest policy will really help with our problem of not planting enough forest.

Nope. The alternative is Enforce Justice, which costs us centralization floor and may have negative synergy with Law.

I can only se us gaining 1-3 centralization, something our economy system benefits from. And i don't see it working in negative synergy with the law, I believe it might for in positive synergy with it, carrying the new laws to the settlements with the Kings authority, ensuring it is followed by all. Heavy handed for sure, but it's needed in this age.

[X] [Main] The Law (Iron Age)
[X] [Main] The Law (Iron Age) x2
[X] [Kick] The Law (Iron Age)

I personally would like to rush the Law and get it over with before any of the various fires we need to put out climb even higher.

We can certainly pay for the Law in Mysticism - the total cost for it should now come out to 8 Mysticism, 8 Tech. Our current Tech is 7, so we need at least 1 to pay for it - luckily, a lot of our actions generate it now. In particular, this one:

[X] [Secondary] Support Artisans

I can get behind potential innovations.

We have a new policy slot, and the general thread consensus seems to be that we should put it into Defense. I agree with the idea that we need more Defense, so I'll do the same.

[X] [Policy] Defense (+1 significant walls/turn)

Just because it's the bandwagon, doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

I'm not too sure about converting Greenshore. It could really go either way, so I think I'll abstain.

Do we need to make boats to reap the benefit from growing hemp?

Wait a minute. Since when did we get hemp?
It's new, and we have boats. Per WoG we're using hemp rope for rigging, so it would not give the Diplo for inland kingdoms.

@Academia Nut is Sacred Forest already popped or will it pop if we don't get back down to 12 EE at the end of this turn?

It's set to pop and isn't being calculated for, but if you can get Econ Expansion low enough this turn it will technically not pop for the purposes of refunds.

@Academia Nut Are they going to target the TS as well? How far behind are we in term of megaprojects versus the Khemetri? Will we ever catch up to them?

There's like a thousand miles between their current target and the TS, and they intend to take over the not!Carpathians and not!Carpathian basin, so no, not particularly.

@Academia Nut does the infrastructure Policy automatically build stuff, or de we have to start the project, and then it will slowly get built without our help?

It will automatically build things.

@Academia Nut, do the chiefs of the Stallion Tribes and Heaven's Hawks think we should hire out the Red Banner to the Metal Workers even if it'll likely trigger war in order to deny the nomads iron?

Nope.

That's even Worst. Nomads need bases to smelt iron, so they will settle some people; giving us stationary targets.

Trelli already have a much bigger industry and can afford to tech up; providing huge advantages against everyone to their west.

No it's not. The Trelli are smart enough to keep the know-how about Iron to themselves - if only so they'll get a massively valuable trading good.

The Nomads will leak knowledge all over the place, as experts get taken in raids and counter-raids. Everyone that borders the steppes will soon have Iron themselves.

Sure, with Trelli things will get out as well as people reverse engineer the process from the weapons they sell, but it might take longer, and we can use our dominance of the black sea to keep it from leaking to the TS and HK.

Anyways, we lost one of our biggest advantages. The Iron Age will be here very soon.
