Holy shit stop thinking with stats so much, by god. Integrating two vassals would put an immense amount of administrative strain on us. Even stat-wise this is a horrible idea, putting us way over the Martial cap and lowering our Centralisation cap like crazy. You also did your vote quite crappily, not specifying which of our periphery states we're integrating.
He want's to do the integrate vassal option, which is to say converting our lowlands minors into a march or colony. And yeah, doing the 2m version is just nutso at the moment when we don't have any palace benefit yet. After this turn I can see an argument for it since we'll have partial palace benefit(still think we should wait until after law, or at leas do a couple influence actions first)

[X][Main] More Boats
[X][Secondary] New Trails
[X][Secondary] New Trails x2

Gets us the necessary Golden Age Diplomacy and takes advantage of the boat tech boost.

To others, I would caution against diving into the shiny too much. It's worth taking advantage of but it must be remembered that we have other rather important issues that need addressing.

Oh, I did not notice that special! This makes for a very good case for boats

[X][Main] More Boats
[X][Main] More Boats x2
[X][Secondary] Expand Economy

[X][Main] More Boats
[X][Secondary] New Trails
[X][Secondary] New Trails x2

I've no real idea if this is the right thing or not (well I have had a look and honestly more centralisation and taking advantage of the BOATS seems like a good idea)

Also my god this thread moves fast.

Actually, yes, I was thinking that this would be a thing I would do.
Awesome!

[X][Main] Grand Palace
[X][Main] More Boats

The Law bonus on the Palace should give us the required actions to ram through the extra options we might want, and the extra boats could give innovations into warships.

Trails can be spammed once the Palace is complete.

I hope people aren't forgetting that it's better to integrate ST march sooner rather than latter?

And our effective martial is at 13, which is too hight to integrate ST safely without a mercenary company first.

[X][Main] Grand Palace

I don't care too much about other stuff, but can we take a Grand Palace action, please? A single king action should trigger symphony, giving us effectively 2x actions for the price of one.

This is good, I like this reaction. Now we just need to focus on ourselves and turtle up for the upcoming nomads so we can shit all over them for a turn or two and they fuck off for a couple hundred years.

Finish megaprojects and maybe golden age?

AN said that integrating them would give us +12 Martial, which is way too much even after founding a mercenary company.

I think they are changing their mindset from trade /naval focus to include land expansion to fuel their production and population generation.

So less immediate war, but increased future war power should it happen.
On the one hand there is that, but on the other as someone else said they just stepped into our arena by making another settlement.

Anyway I'm going to be thinking a bit. Interesting things happened, as always really.

.........how the hell are we even integrating them then?!
We probably aren't, unfortunately. Best we can do is build trails and Influence Subordinate.

So found another one after? :V

It's not difficult to do it in the same turn if people would focus on issues at hand.
Founding a new March completely defeats the reason why we're integrating the Stallion Tribes in the first place. It also wouldn't drain away enough Martial to allow for a safe Stallion Tribes integration anyway.
