It isn't time to integrate the Stallions yet. We need to finish the palace before grabbing several new provinces.

One thing to consider, are we sure we can contest the Trelli if it comes down to it? Are our ships good enough to take them? Will we be able to supply or reinforce the trade post if it goes to war with the Trelli?

We might want to consider taking the northern trade post for now, to get access to those sweet, sweet trees to build better boats. We need some sort of naval advantage against the Trelli, and as we are right now I don't think we have enough power to combat them.
Thus Boats. The action is specifically for innovation purposes.

I'm gonna say that I disagree with your assessment, I think we can contest them if it comes to that because of our boats. They may be trade focused, but a longship can be a boat of war and they were used as such at times.

We'd probably do poorly on the naval front, but trash them in the land front and can protect Greenshore. I'm not sure how well but I am pretty sure we can protect them.

Let's maybe reduce our martial so we can integrate the tribes next turn and have a merc company ready to send off with a trade post. Putting down a trade post immediately is a recipe to have it attacked and have a Divine Stewards cascade.

We will explicitly be sending the red banner to protect the trade post anyway. At that distance to the Trelli, they could potentially just take the land route for retaliation...

Hmm More Boats would need to have a Trading posy action paired with it. Two trading posts can stall the Trelli enough to call up Hatvalley for assistance which should let us react fast enough to Trelli aggression. Integrate Stallions should be taken with new trails for the syngery.

Thus Boats. The action is specifically for innovation purposes.
But will it be enough? Our boats as they are now are made for exploration and trading. Converting those isn't just a one generation thing, especially since the Trelli seem to have focused on warships themselves.

Losing the naval battles with such large distances involved will hurt though. It means supply will be risky, and our logistics has time and again been a major boon for our armies. While I'm pretty sure we will beat them on land battles, there isn't much we can do other than defend ourselves on land battles.

To win this, we need to win some naval battles, and as we are now I'm not sure we can do it. Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but the prospects of a war with the Trelli don't seem like a good idea right now.

Okay so looking at the stats our actions for next turn will either be

Main Palace
Main New Settlement Cataracts
Or
Main Palace
Sec Black Soil
Sec New Settlement Cattaracts

If we want to keep the baby boom going personally I am for the former I want that new settlement site for the dam

Guys. You know what gives a lot of Econ slots? Support Subordinate, because it resettles people.
+3 Econ slots for Main. A good action for the next turn, especially with distant trade post in dangerous place.

Here, we need trade post, support it with boats and, hmmm, get closer to All Stats Golden Age Palace Finish.

I am going to go with this. We currently do not have the boats to contest Trelli, so let's fix that. Northern Trade Post is stated to synergize with better boats.

As for the last, always go with more Stability!

IIRC it said it was a possibility. Either way, having. Backup mobile force like that is a definite plus, especially when we are integrating the tribes soon and will be absorbing their martial.

If we're making a Trelli Trade post, it might be a good idea to station the Red Banner there.

The best idea would be to provoke them and then thrash them soundly to get the stability boost.

If we build a new trading post, we don't need to do additional trading missions. The two trading posts will take care of tgat on their own.

Longships are awesome for ship to shore, poor for ship to ship.

Thus not attacking the Trelli right now. We are unprepared for ship to ship combat. Go for the Northern Trading Post first as that would help build better boats.
