ignoring the fact that it was actually quite subdued compared to all the backstabbing elsewhere

We have ninja and/? assassins.
ignoring the fact that it was actually quite subdued compared to all the backstabbing elsewhere
The nomads will be going up against the Stallion Tribes, Western Wall, the Heaven's Hawks, and the Red Banner Company. The only reason the nomads are attacking is because they're a new tribe and thus fatally stupid, not because they have any actual chance of a victory.
I understand the logic of reinforcing ties, I was just arguing against the specific reasoning that a Secondary War Mission would be the difference between a long campaign that lasts multiple turns and a quick win for us.The whole point of sending a secondary war mission is to reinforce tie with our subordinate, not to win war. But crushing them as soon as possible is great too.
Everywhere else apparently has bad enough backstabbing to unlock an Intrigue stat, we've surmised. Symphony also tends to cut down on that.
Western Wall first because that's what governs our ability to project cultural authority to Greenshore(which isn't making noises YET, but given their distance, it's inevitable)I think integrating the stallions would be what needs be done.
Because of the lack of roads.@veekie, I remember your temple-building plan, how you want to start at Redshore and move up. Why not start at Stonepen? It would be provincially adjacent to Sacred Forest, so religious drift wouldn't occur.
The Stallions already told us they got this. I see no reason to dispute their assessment considering they have a Symphony backed triple main war mission to the face alreadyYou presume not dealing with the horde will give us more actions to deal with the weather rather than it causing the war to drag on and ultimately be a larger drain.
There are other things to find than mines, presumably, despite the name.We don't have the forests to build a mine right now (we're at 5/5 slots).
As different as a King is from a Big Big (Big) Man.Yep. We had shamans at the time, certainly - but I don't believe we had priests until later. Those are not the same thing.
No.Hmm is it possible to stay silent dev the god king statis, then if possible scale it back?
You presume not dealing with the horde will give us more actions to deal with the weather rather than it causing the war to drag on and ultimately be a larger drain.
Bear in mind that the Stallions didn't absolutely have to join in this fight at all. It's the Heaven's Hawk who are under attack. The Stallions already told us they got this. I see no reason to dispute their assessment considering they have a Symphony backed triple main war mission to the face already
The stallions are the ones who are gaining the idea that they don't need to be under us much longer, which considering it all means that narratively they will likely rebel and if their smart they will have the backing of the Heaven's Hawks if only because they can.Meanwhile the Stallions are still providing an essential service(see this very turn),
[X][Main] Megaproject-Sacred Forest RenewalJust a war mission: the king supports subjects. Just Red Banner: the king can afford to send help. Both: the king has his subject's back as much as possible given the circumstances.
we will only get free change if our stab is max by midturn which isn't 100% considering the situation.Sometimes political reasons are reason enough. Also why is everyone wasting a secondary on a policy switch when AN already our current policy will act as balanced and we get a free switch on the next mid turn. Plus the WW can wait a bit longer so we can integrate the Stallions first.
This...is a good point. @veekie Might we be better off spending the action on a secondary War? Appeasing the ST will make future integration easier, I expect, and Lord's Loyalty is a good value to evolve. Also why is everyone wasting a secondary on a policy switch when AN already our current policy will act as balanced and we get a free switch on the next mid turn.
If it's not, then all the more reason to boost it there. Golden Age FTW!we will only get free change if our stab is max by midturn which isn't 100% considering the situation.
Then they'll take annual festivals and expand econ since they won't go over centralization anymore.we will only get free change if our stab is max by midturn which isn't 100% considering the situation.
That just means we're good at it. Best of the best, you know. Even if we don't have to stab people that often, our assassins will be LEGENDARY!
Where is the citation on that? I don't see it mentioned on the action list.
I could get behind that.If we swap it out with a Secondary War Mission we can get the x2 Megaproject, the Secondary War Mission, and a Balanced policy. It's an ideal plan.
Thanks for the reminderwe will only get free change if our stab is max by midturn which isn't 100% considering the situation.
