Ahh nope. It looks like hell has indeed not frozen over, and PoC will still have a post at least once an hour!

This is a good thing! We don't want hell to freeze, because then you get issues of vacationing demons.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but a secondary settlement in the Redhills won't actually return us econ.
The last settlement there gave us 4 Expansion, way back before Expansion was a directly tracked stat. If the environment is similar the idea is that we can expect a similar payout.

Oh, if it's just for the expand then alright.

However, getting 4 expand econ would put us at 10 econ expansion (1 away from losing True City)...why should we do that instead of switching policies?

*shrug* Go look at what notgreat has posted I guess? He's done the math on why new settlement is a good idea. Part of it I do know is that if it does give us 4 that will get immediately nulled by Baby Boom.

The extra econ will leave us at about 12 if i'm not mistaken, which will definitely overflow us hard on martial. So we'll either spend crazy econ when the nomads attack us or launch mass war missions to decimate our martial.
 
So - lot's of babies means, fill new village. Makes kind of sense.

The situation has changed with the evolution of QoO to WHR. Now the higher our Econ the higher a chance of negating Martial and thus Econ losses we have. Also we will be, if we hit 11-12 Econ, at 10 {14} Martial. Which is just barely on the old partial limit. It is vaguely possible that limit has changed but quite unlikely. Either way we will be at positive Stability for it with the above vote so the malus cannot trigger.

Well to give my own actual opinion instead of objective observations I believe that replacing the S RoO with S Enforce is better. Sure the Legitimacy of M PG is wasted, but we guarantee that we are at 1 Stability, and with the combo of our lots of walls and below average admin we have a really good chance of only rolling +1 Centralization.

Semi-professional citizen levy sounds awesome, especially when we have a Martial hero to increase the chance for crit.
I think that's sorta what we got with WHR. We are on the track to that kind of ideal, though possibly even more widespread to the point where literally every adult Ymaryn can be considered a soldier while being a citizen as well. Which just tickles me in the funnies.

E: Also to make a correction, Heroes don't improve chances for crits to my knowledge, they just can't crit fail.

While EJ is risk free, RO carries the opportunity of gaining 2 stability. It might or might not happen, but the possibility is far from impossible.

Certainly. Which is why I am not arguing more fiercely against RO. Our dude may not be the best at admin but he definitely ain't the worst and he actually can do this.

Hmm! Interesting thought, but I wonder if our Admin skill levels are actually worth more than other civs because we have been so admin focused? Like our Exceptional is the HK's Heroic, or our Average is someone's Above average.
