[] [Temple] Know that the gods are with us (+1 Stability)

Useful for the Restore Order to buffer risks, but bland.

[] [Temple] See to the spread of the techniques that went into making this place (+3 art, tech advance)

Architecture upgrade. Good for everything really. Useful for Library and Dam

[] [Temple] Let the glory of your gods be known far and wide (+1 Prestige, Pilgrimage trade power increased)

Trade power?

Corruption
[] [Corruption] Deploy force

Admin roll under Heroic Admin, and could take us to Stability 3 I think, if successful.
Greater Justice

[] [Corruption] Main Enforce Justice

Will solve the problem but cause overcentralization as said in narration.
Greater Justice

[] [Corruption] Burn occupational administration down (-2 Stability, switches to geographic admin within Valleyhome)

We'll just wind up with a different and harder to root out sort of corruption

Who to outfit?
[] [Diplo] Send aid to the Metal Workers (-2 Diplo, -2 Econ, -2 Art, -2 Mysticism)

Protects MW from nomad takeover and keeps bronze away from them.
Diplomacy and Admin roll.

[] [Diplo] Send delegations to the Metal Workers and Thunder Speakers (-2 Diplo)

Try to coordinate a response.
Diplomacy roll

[] [Diplo] Launch a Main War Mission - Northern Nomads

Preemptive strike into Nomad territory...yes about as doomed as it sounds.

[] [Policy] Offense

Overmartial risks. But burn the steppes. Best with a preemptive strike

[] [Policy] Defense

Turtle up, fill in the fortification gaps. Best with supporting MW

[] [Policy] No change

All the options could backfire horribly, the send in the army could trigger a revolt, sending the kgb xould

The send in the army could trigger revolt, which is very bad, or institute absolute monarchy /king rule by might of arms (not my favourite kind of monarchy but I step In the right direction).
Have the king take on the entire buecracy would be recipe for disaster for both king and buecracy. And if it does pan out will solve just now instead of permanently never mind setting a precedent for King's to halt the buecracy at thier will (again am not against this per se)

Going geographic is a stability loss, that may be mitigated by our admin Diplo hero, and will definitely solve the issue with the least amount of harm and shortest length of chaos
It doesn't directly address corruption though it merely changes the system so that the current playbook of corruption has to be thrown out.

So that the nomads aren't able to just walk in and take their bronze weapons to make this a less one sided fight, I would guess.
I'd personally like to go and walk up to smack them before they have a chance to descend on either of us. At least that's what I figure it would be doing if we do the war mission.

[X] [Library] Sacred Forest

Has a nice synergy with shamans being trained in the temple.

[X] [Temple] See to the spread of the techniques that went into making this place (+3 art, tech advance)

I'm kinda ambivalent, as we're looking at a disruptive number of turns in the future. The construction tech might simply be better walls or something, either way i'm leaning on this more.

[X] [Corruption] Deploy Force

A [main] EJ will definitely put us at 6 centralization minimum, which will cause even more issues that we don't need right now. Deploy Force has the best chance of removing the corruption as it's a [main] RO (modified), so our admin hero will definitely boost the action.

[X] [Diplo] Send aid to the Metal Workers (-2 Diplo, -2 Econ, -2 Art, -2 Mysticism)

The nomads are far to the north, so it's likely that a [main] war mission will be difficult to do well. Shoring up the metal workers will prevent giving the nomads an easy source of bronze weapons (which will prevent them from gaining steam and impressing other tribes enough to rope them into the waaagh!) and massively improve relations with MW. This is nice since we just established a trading post next door.

[X] [Policy] No change

Once we finish the Library we'll get a free action of our choice (maybe stability boost...maybe another free tech) and will allow a free policy switch. As the Library is partially finished already, it'll probably only take 1-2 turns to complete. The library only takes art and mysticism, so it won't drain our econ.

Folks there's a horde coming, we need to change policy to Offense and war mission and destroy it in the field, or go defensive and ensure that our new colony and trade post can at least survive till reinforced.

Remember what happend last time we underestimated a horde.

The last time we faced heroes (Two of them) they barely did any damage despite multiple crits, and we were barely getting iron out. Iron is now widespread for us, inleast we crit fail and they crit succeed we'll be fine
They also burned down an entire an march, raided our heartlands and were only driven back by overwhelming hatred. We took them by surprise in round 1, since even AN didn't think we would go beserk the way we did.

Even round two required a massive amount of men on our part, and we were stated to have lost 1/3 of the army we committed against them.

Nomads are no joke, even with all our advantages.
They're attacking us, are they not?
They make no distinction other that 'we hate the southerners' apparently.

Tech advance is all we really need out of this. That has been and will continue to be our greatest strength if we continue to push at it.

Defensive is the way to go. They will break on our hills, forests, and the iron in our hands.

Except back then they barely beat our march and a raid that did only a bit of damage...
That was BEFORE iron and they barely did it despite MULTIPLE CRITICAL SUCCESSES. They got absurdly lucky and us absurdly unlucky, and still didn't really effect much for more than a turn

I don't think we can build defenses where they are. Adjusting vote.

I don't really agree with deploying force and the arguments against enforce justice, but I'm too lazy to not bandwagon.

I'd personally like to go and walk up to smack them before they have a chance to descend on either of us. At least that's what I figure it would be doing if we do the war mission.

I would rather not just walk up to them and hand them a bunch of iron weapons, which is what I think going after a nomad hero with a single war mission would accomplish. Better to brace ourselves to weather the storm...

Anyway, this is gonna be a bit risky. We've dropping a whole lot of econ right now, dangerously low.

Seriously no one wants to switch to a defense/offense policy even though we been told we have a massive war on the horizon? Screw the HK for taking our loot. Also shouts out to the Xohyrissi from becoming vassals on the verge of collapse to the center of an Empire, I'm truly in awe of them.

Defense: We shall need to start increasing our martial score it seems manually while our provinces start building walls especially our new colony. The downside would be having to wait for the army to come to us rather then rushing towards them with our superior carts and weapons.
Offense: We hit the nomads with a preemptive attack to try and crush them before they get too close. The downside as the the update showed was harsh elements and too many hostile forces to reach such a distant army.

Sending aid to the MW seems like an excellent choice to deny the nomads a qualitative military advantage and start their slow vassalization.

Make a group of academics. Palace goes in Valleyhome.

[X] [Temple] Know that the gods are with us (+1 Stability)
We're a far ways away from dominating Pilgrimage, so that's not important. +3 Art is nice, but Stability is ridiculously important considering how many things are on fire right now.

[X] [Corruption] Deploy force

Not sure which. Voting for the loser to help balance things. This conspiracy shall be rooted out.

[X] [Diplo] Launch a Main War Mission - Northern Nomads

I'd be fine with Send Aid if we also switched to Offensive, but I think that getting another megaproject or two done is worth more. Doing Send Aid+No change is just asking for trouble though.

Pilgrimage, is the best way to gather people from far and wide In one place and have them all share things. Centers of Pilgrimage not only generate ludicrous wealth from all the travel, but they are also a furnace for new Ideas and practices. So long term it's far better technology wise, and keep in mind that with the library attachment, we will get pilgrims of both the pennant kind and the theological /philosophical kind, so that's an even bigger tech and economy boost.
