Actually, that is an entirely different Crow. IIRC, it was based on Crow's grandson.
He meant the first Crow Crow though. Pretty clear by calling him a blight.

Which he wasn't and neither were his daughter and grandson. Coming to mind at that, 3 faces of Crow eh? I see what you did there Academia Nut.

I want another god to get more mentions in the update. As cool as Crow is, he's not the head of our pantheon and seeing him gets mentioned to much is tiresome.

Fythhagyna is definitely a safe bet, as she would appeal to everyone and give a bonus to Divine Stewards...though we would miss out on innovation bonuses and stuff.

Still, if she's in the lead i'll definitely switch my vote to her.
We won't miss out totally on the innovation bonuses if we don't take Crow but still take Alien but Knowable. The real innovation kicker to my understanding is Knowable.

That's the big thing I want to go through right now. That and where boats are built. The rest I'm not too fussed about.

100% would say s/he is the God of Kings, but only about 25%-35% would say he is the King of Gods.
Ahh cool so he is always A God of Kings, but some people consider him to have a secondary/equivalent responsibility of being King of the Gods? Do I have that right?

A goddess of harvest during a drought would be reassuring to the people.

Farming is the bases of why our civ is so great. Also it is a time of drought. thus the farming deity is best deity for both short and long term.

Correct + the current Crow has literally nothing to do with the original stories. Zero, zilch, nada, not a single scrap remains other than the name, which was only memorable because it was referencing the bird.

and regional administation could've devolved into landlords.

You probably wouldn't have gone for that in the subsequent event chain.

Ahh cool so he is always A God of Kings, but some people consider him to have a secondary/equivalent responsibility of being King of the Gods? Do I have that right?

This is correct.

Portability has a lot to offer in a world where docks are still a maybe-yes-maybe-no kind of thing.

Who do you think would grant innovation bonuses, Crow?
Yeah, if we take Alien, but Knowable and have him as the center focus of the temple, we would give a big motivation boost towards figuring out mysteries.

Having him as the focus as well will give a much bigger motivation boost towards figuring out the mysteries of the world.

Sure, I guess?

We'd also be choosing to venerate Demon God Crow, the perennial outsider of our pantheon. Which is kinda weird.

We'll get Mathy next- Nature comes before Man

I mean there is a reason he's part of the vote don't you think? Four options, thus people are split between who the King of God is.

Think about the 25-35% think he is, and there are four choices.

@Academia Nut How many people think that Gwy and Gyo are the King of Gods?

...how is he a demon exactly? He's been considered a trickster god mainly.
AN made a thing on the spirits of the people and apparently Crow, as the creator, is an outsider to the spirits and therefore technically a demon

Guys, could we please focus on someone else? Crow is nice and all but I'd like to hear about the other gods more often. Crow has a very strong presence in our people's minds, but none of the others are seen as important enough to acknowledge when wide sweeping events happen. No god was acknowledged when we beat back the nomads. No god was acknowledged when Valleyhome turned into a True City. No specific god was acknowledged when the White Calf was born. Whenever something good happens to our people and a specific god is acknowledged, it has always been Crow.

Let's give some other gods the spotlight and authority, such as the goddess of the Harvest. Plus, can you imagine how historians would look at us for having our grandest temple be dedicated to the harvest?
