Lots of RL-Greek influences in your worldbuilding here, i see =3

I feel like I'm in some weird totalitarian novel. Not only are senators opposed to effective health care, ppl are opposing it for imaginary peasants in a created world. :(

Sanitation and public health is just as effective if not more so than healthcare.

Hopefully we can unlock more Mega-projects soon, we might actually start to run out of them.

On the other hand, assuming we maintain this level of completion we might be able to do them as soon as they are unlocked.

I will have my double megaproject hypersynergy nonsense. Dam/Garden at the same time would have some unusual synergy if it happened with intent like that.
I'd like us to do the dam on its own, with minimum rushing, frankly--the dam sounds like the kind of thing that rushing could lead to, say, accidental floods destroying shit, and i'd like to avoid that possibility there...

@Academia Nut So what sort of scenario would lead to our provinces doubling a main action instead of doubling a secondary, because i would have thought this turn was the perfect time to, since we ended up with a double main anyway?

Proto-Indo-european.
I mean, i just meant that 3 of them felt very much "AU Zeus, married to AU Hera, with AU Apollo-Hermes as a son"--though i had just been reading through some Percy Jackson stuff, so thats probably more "whats on my mind to make connections to" than anything

To those wanting to do Carrion Eaters, please consider this: By choosing Garden, we free up a Main action that can be used to do Carrion Eaters anyway. The only difference is that choosing Garden now gets us +1 Stability, whereas choosing it in the main turn doesn't. It is the optimal way to go.

I am pretty pleased that our Eve-equivalent is a guy, and that our spirits in general are pretty egalitarian for early religion...makes me more hopeful that those solidifying gender norms can be fought
If you want to combat gender roles i suggest expansion of high prestige roles in which the hereditary differences are minimal like priests and managers.

we lose the Xohyssiri priests who will train the CE, so it's p neutral in optimization, especially if one considers that building the dam after the garden might fuck the garden up

They've already taught our shamans and the Carrion Eaters all they could. It would just be expanding their numbers at this point.

...Yeah, this sounds like the religion of nice people who we merely have inaccurate rumors and myths about, and that we want to befriend...On that note, AN, have the People completely forgotten our war with the DP, and think we've never had any war other than defending against nomads, or did we just forget who we were fighting or decide that those dead priests werent the same dead priests, or something?

There's the story of the clusterfuck that resulted in the collapse of the original Thunder Horse, but its become so mythical that the People mostly tell it as allegory about humility. There is no cultural memory of the People fighting with the Dead Priests that hasn't be turned into a battle against generic demons/monsters.

We get a stability for it in relation to the cholea cure, so it's definitely a public health project. It will also allow us to build even taller.
We get it because we get easier access to water.

Expanding their numbers under the best trainers possible, and having more carrion eaters that we could send w/ the expedition to the Xohyssiri to maybe see if we can learn even more.

I want to do the Dam first and then the Garden. I wonder when some smart guy in one of the other tribes will realize how much we are sandbagging.

The Dead Priests really are our strongest regional rivals meaning I want us to influence the HK laws to make it easier to conquer them in the future.

Take a look at their religion and our Observance trait, its pros and cons both. All the more reason to keep our boys and girls away from them.

cus our people will go against literally every other trait they have and become serial killers

edit: plus, note the "careful study of the world"

We are going to get an extra stability on the completion of the project. We might as well kick it to ensure that we complete it as fast as possible.

It's 3-6 possible action commitments.

A 40k-esque mix of animism and science is the best approach.
>40k-esque
>best approach

Anyway, I dislike the Xohys again because they're still a murder cult, so lets just let the priests go home on their own.
