Looks good to me. So long as BB's roll out first on the admin rolls, they can be added to Restore Order. And, since BB's are generally drawn from individuals who can't or don't have children, and who generally only enter into romantic relationships with other shamans, they're actually near-ideal in the era to deal with familial corruption.
 
Ugh. Fine. The ultimate strategic vote:

Maximum reduction in chance of solo-restore order. Up to 1 other person can also do this before we get into undefined/illegal territory. This vote itself literally can't win, but it brings down the worst-case reasonable scenario (1x restore order) and helps the metal+festival vote by bringing the two closer together.

........ A d3 produces 33% chance per option. Did you mean a d4? This information is not in the discription and considering that AN has made more than 500 posts here, missing the one with that information is not unlikely.
 
Secondary Grand Sacrifice is not as efficient as a main(in terms of Econ to Stabilty), but is a great way to bring the People together, and to also even out class distinctions. The problem we are facing is (higher class)chiefs manipulating things for the benefit of their families at the cost of the (lower class) farmers.

In terms of action economy Main New Settlement + Secondary Grand Sacrifice + Secondary Study Metal is best. The settlement will cover the costs of both secondaries resulting in certain stability gain, certain province gain and take us a step closer to metal technology.

Restore Order x2 is almost certain to result in a stability gain, main More Blackbirds most likely will occur first however this plan could go wrong. I would prefer to main More Blackbirds next turn and hope that a good roll occurs (additional effects resulting in upgrade of Restore Order).
 
What do you guys think of getting cremation for dealing with our dead? It is the best way to do things after all. The ash can be spread to the land and help crops grow, no space wasted on graveyards, and is overall more hygienic.

Also no bodies to be animated into zombies.

we forest zoroastrians now. turn bodies to dust to keep them from tainting the land and water

As well as fire may purify, it's iffy that our people will recognize the cleanliness of cremation (not to mention we can't achieve the needed level of heat).
 
Use a funeral pyre, like in Ancient Greece!

Didn't the shamans suggest cremation when the king offered to talk to the spirits or something?

My one regret changing to this is the cap at 0 stability (unless that is the initiaton limit)

that was less cremation and more self-immolation. He was going to be burned alive.

I can't believe Study Metal is losing. Alright guys, fine, you can have your blackbirds and your budding police force. But next time we need to get our metal production going. Metal will help with literally everything we do--for once that's no exaggeration.

I will laugh so hard if it turns out that the compromise vote wins since "Restore Order" isn't technically a legal action.

Probably not going to happen, but would be hilarious. (Also horribly salty and with good reason, but still hilarious)
 
Do any other factions know about our Sacred Forest? Because it just seems really badass how our people do this day in and day out without stopping.

Why is it happening in the first place?

We might have to start a bloc or faction to get the necessary advancements for our civ. I propose we start the Metal Bloc :p for those who want to get the metal study done ASAP.
