[X] Action Plan: Give Us TH Mechanics Now + Sealing Research
Word Count: 297
  • Desired update duration: 11 days (subjective)
  • Move research sites, clean up used runic substrate, bury any active runes. Head for a random island on the other side of Aisu Bay, swing by our first FFR site and grab the expended rune.
  • Start spending as much time as possible inside a TR125 without missing obligations on the Seventh Path
  • Work on our TH project with Toad Sages
    • Buy up to TH 10 when XP becomes available
    • Candidate projects:
      • A noncombat, modified version of Earth Rend (or Spine of the Earth?) that tills fields
      • Less chakra-intensive MARI
      • A sturdier version of Mud Hut (more compact walls/ceiling)
      • Multiple Earth Wall variant that produces stone with a slightly different mineral composition than the usual MEW granite
      • Non-elemental short (<5 cm) range activation of seal
      • ES but faster and shorter range
      • Telekenesis of rocks/earth (e.g. pull a pebble towards you)
      • QUASI
      • A modification of Earth Rend that is non-combat viable, but great at leveling ground. Intended to be used for NOBURI. This redesign(?) is teachable to other ninja without sharing Earth Rend.
      • Longer duration Earth Clone
  • Dogs
    • Go see what Canabisu has to say in his debrief about his travels
      • Assist in his "rehabilitation" of Cantelabra
    • Attend the Gray Oak's taleswap for Canaut
  • Sealing Research
Alright edits and WC accounted for, we have space for like one additional diff check if someone wants one.

I'll plug my idea: Zephyr Field - chakra diffusion increaser, a way to severely nerf people like Itachi, Sasori, and Konan if chakra draining runes prove too difficult. Also explores the effect that chakra diffusion has on seals/runes and can help with jamming chakra detectors that would otherwise home in on our intricate rune/seal arrays.

This is fair, though I might suggest that we at least start discussing a suitable area for us to go punching. Truth be told, I'm not sure what our plan is; I don't exactly want to go to the mainland and hunting down chakra monsters of sufficient power is going to be a crapshoot.
I was thinking that maybe Iron could be a good place to find appropriate level chakra beasts? No major ninja presence there, so.

Luck Rune, pretty please?

You can change 'activation of seal' to 'seal activation' to save a word and IMO improve clarity.

If we can get it to a reasonable distance it's got applications for runes and even Poor Man's Konan is pretty good.

It can be any kind of flavor you like. Something something adjusts the cognitive fields so that what those within its area want comes to fruition more often.

I just feel like not having so much as a day tossed at it's a real bad call on our part.

PLTRs, please. Not urgent if you have other priorities - would need to wait for better TRs to be really useful - but has the advantage that it's only one word. (Actually, couldn't you save two words by deleting the spaces in TR 150 and TRA 200?)

Edit: PLTR103 if you think the acceleration needs specifying. Assuming that if not specified it'll be left to Hazо̄pilot to decide, which might be advantageous if higher accelerations turn out to be easier, but worried that might be unclear.

Lucky Labours is already in the plan. Is this a different idea?

Neither TR 130 or Runic Air Domes are runic weapons. So it's, at most, a 5 day pause in comparison.

I was mostly concerned with finishing up TR 125 and starting on TR 150 (if possible) last plan. Runic Air Domes were just there to pad out the schedule, we'll do them eventually.
Runic air domes represent a strategic shift for leaf if they mean that Deidara can't bomb the village off the map at will. Naruto told Tsunade he was hoping we'd invent something like that. It's not the most exciting, but it has significant value.

And rushing TR150 would be better done by taking a prep day for a difficulty check, then starting research immediately if it's within our ability. Why wait an extra 10 days to do a cycle of paper sealing first?

Implemented, although trying to replicate a runic failure is pretty much fultile in my opinion.

Random idea: we have varying types of defensive seals (Kagome's 2 Part Earth Dome Seal, Air Dome, Force Walls, etc)...

How hard do you think it would be to turn them into an Armor Seal?

Take Air Dome, make it project a movable Air dome, and shaped like armor? Have it activate with CATEARS and gain a non-regenerative stress box or two.

I don't think the "shaping" it will be the hard part, but more the "mobility" feature. What do y'all think?
