I'm gonna swapping to the second, mostly because as much as I'd love Vanellope to be activated sooner rather then later, we can almost certainly activate her ourselves once we explore the Grid.

Ok, so I think I might have figured out what the third gift is connected to. All the other gifts were decorated with aesthetics that provided hints, right? Well glowing green and steel matches Hero's Duty from Wreck It Ralph.

Thoughts?
That is a good point. It could awaken one of those characters, can't remember her name. The one with a tragic backstory.

Anyways, Darkwing Duck seems the coolest.

So we have a clarification.

If we don't pick box one or two, those boxes are not going to happen.

Box 3 says wake up early. So that box is going to wake up at some point anyway.
In this case yeah im sticking with 2. We can get Vanellope ourselves since we finally have the SHIVA laser, let's talk to Alan next turn and do the grid the turn after start trying to find Vanellope to fix her ourselves.
 
I'd make the arguement that having whoever's in the Grid wake up early considering the state itMs in is a very huge benefit, but ultimately I'm fine with Darkwing shenanigans as well and this vote should be based on what you want to see, in the end.

…I still want to see Grid stuff though so my vote stays :V
