Also, if we're going to be unlocking biosealing, it may also be helpful to ask Asuma for access to biosealing notes. We even have a ready justification, such as wanting access to less sleep and more knowledge on how to keep people alive.

Can we add 'look at the Great Seal with Kagome'? It'd make for a great scene in case the other ones aren't good on-screen material, and it's both necessary and cool.

...Oh. I must've missed that when it was mentioned, sorry. And the Dragons are all spending most of their time camping on top of the seal, so we'd just get eaten if we didn't draw them away somehow.

Yeah, I'm drawing a blank for ways to make that work, sorry.

My best thought is using MARS as bait like a chain of explosions/banshees. What do the Arachnids eat? Maybe we could herd some prey animals together as a big target?
 
Since that's not a problem, could I get the two of you to vote for it, if you have not already?

We all, I know, want Hazou to be more competent in combat, and this is the quickest way to make that happen.

I would rather do my plan and then do something with Ami for Vel's update :V

Wouldn't be upset if that don't happen though

I would definitely enjoy your plan too, I just fear that we'll continue putting off doing our diligence in improving our MARS loadout, and then head out for another mission without doing so.
 
Haven't we tried to get seals from other seal masters and it never works out? I def feel that we have. @Cariyaga I'll add looking for seals as an off screen item if you'll consider voting for my plan

I'm sure we've had it as an off screen portion of a plan in the past that didn't actually get done for lack of infinite spoons. Thats the reason that I'm making it one of only two scenes, and not off screen.

That's fair. Just curious though what do you think would be something cool to MARS stack? Figure if we can generate a bunch of ideas would help with QMs spoons

We do already have the seals that cloud jonin was using on her chakrams, which seem to both boost offense and harm the user. We haven't learned them yet though

Non-explosive impulse seals, seals that provide lower or higher gravity in an area, seals that provide an object extra speed... there's lots of things. Basically anything that would provide even a minor or situational bonus such that it wouldn't normally be worth one's time to use, to a core combat skill (Taijutsu/Ranged Weapons/Ninjutsu, Athletics, Alertness, Physique to a lesser extent). I'd also be chuffed to find non-combat seals, stuff that improves stealth or examination, or provides benefits we can't get otherwise (spying seals, recording seals, etc.)

I don't think your plan fits this so I'm removing my vote for your plan.

Those justifications for Tsunade sound weak to me. Especially given that Oro didn't even believe Hazou was sincere about finding trading pleasurable. If you can replace them with more plausible sounding justifications I will like your plan.
Not sure what a plausible sounding justification would look like right now. Besides just being honest that she's for insurance, which might cause annoyance if he feels its impugning his honor. Although I think it would be less annoyance than a fake sounding justification.

if we ask for more time, we can spend that reading up on his integrity in past trades. it doesn't cost Oro anything to give us more time to decide. And he's let us think a long time before (ex: with making him our clan leader). So I think he will allow it.

They're not supposed to be particularly plausible, just some noises to make to have a pretense of wanting her not because we don't trust him. He's not meant to be fooled as to the real reason. He'll dislike the distrust and he'll dislike the insincerity, yes, but I do expect he'll dislike it more if we dare to question his integrity to his face. That'd be downright provocative.

Anyway, I'll think about editing that if the thread swings back towards accepting the seal after all, but we seem firmly at "nope" for now, so there's no point.

      • Things to offer in exchange, in approximate order of desirability to do so, to the limits of our capacity to do so: Money, influence, a vetted sealing project within X timeframe (intended to be after effective sealing is ~80, so 2 years or so?), providing seals for tower requirements (The X storage/explosive scrolls required monthly of a sealmaster), our time (in the immediate sense), missions in the near term taken for their benefit

Adjusted my plan to include a little more detail on what we're willing to offer in exchange. Perfectly happy to adjust things within the context of the plan!
 
[X] Reject The Seal

Accepting something we don't really understand from someone we emphatically don't trust for marginal gains compared to SC? Something we can't get rid of? No thanks, until we understand biosealing and can do it ourselves.
