Orochimaru is right there I don't think that negotiating with Kabuto over his head is the best play. In this version of the plan I think we should ask Oro for some sort of collateral directly.

I would like to check in with Mari before finalizing a deal.
I do not know if adding that would be enough for me to vote for a plan though
I would also like to suggest the idea to Mari of asking for help from Nara and Ami for negotiations. But that is a lesser want
Edit: although both of those would be better in a new plan then as modifications to existing ones. Considering how close the deadline is

Last time we accidentally offended Orochimaru (back when courting him to join the Goketsu), he Aura'd us into an Out Attack. Maybe we should try to be subtle/polite about it? Invoke an FP to tag Mari's social training?

I was trying to think of what Oro could actually threaten us with if so inclined. One idea: he could use aura to force us to give the dragon parts for free. Similar to how we almost spilled clan secrets before.
However, we could then afterwards say that obviously any promises made under aura are invalid. Accuse him of stealing the dragon parts and refuse to bring any other parts from the 7path.
The key question is what is the culture around using unstoppable jonin aura to get people to say what you want? Would Oro actually view us as going back on a promise (dangerous thing)? If not, then the aura idea isn't a viable threat.

I think you are overthinking this. If Orochimaru wants to speak, he can just speak, nobody is going to blank him. He has expressed his impatience clearly enough. Kabuto is perfectly capable of not discussing or committing to things Orochimaru would not like discussed or committed to. When we have pissed Orochimaru off, it has been because we keep bugging him.
