I would, certainly, but I was under the impression that Jumba wouldn't be available for this.
He just did a genetics related action last turn, he's already doing a learning action in my plan, and aliens aren't restricted in studying the object. So he's available.

Anyway, here is the alternative plan.

Based on the current vote total, there is little-to-no risk of a vote split causing a different plan to win by people swapping to this plan, because the first plan is quite far ahead in the count compared to the second. So the most likely outcome is that the original plan still wins or this new one does, assuming we don't get many new votes and only swaps moving forward.

Quick note! Argidoll has told us that the action we have that might disappear soon had a description change this very turn. This means that the mysterious object probably isn't it- however, the mysterious object probably is still the book, so we should look at it anyways.

Well, I'll take a look in a couple hours if nobody does before I am in front of my laptop.

Here are all the changes summarized besides wholesale removals/additions for new stuff / completed stuff and etc

[ ] Perform Supervillainy -> Changed to mention that the hero unit assigned affects the nature of the assault

This is probably just to clear up the confusion.

[ ] Open diplomatic channels with the US Government -> Mentions LOVEMUFFIN fiasco (Could be this one)
[] Prank your coworkers changed
[] Talk with fellow evil scientist changed

These are probably just to stay relevant with prior turn results.

However, big change:

Beware that rival conglomerates will also have the chance to pounce on opportunities you don't has been added to the buyouts

[ ] Hopper Food Group - Fast food conglomerate with multiple smaller restaurants under their North American banner. Cost: 8 Income
Yearly Income: +3
DC 95

[ ] WyndComm Enterprises - Civilian aeronautics company that constructs and launches satellites for commercial use. Has worked on contracts with government and private space programs in years prior. It might be a good way to jump-start any plans you might have. Cost: 5 Income
Yearly Income: +1
DC 80

Considering that this change is also explicitly mentioning that we have the potential option to lose out on these, I think it's a very fair argument to say that these buy outs are the things we could lose out on by not attempting it. Especially as they have been options from the very beginning.

So in order to get it done, here is what we have to do:
  1. Make sure we take income generating actions. This is stewardship, primarily, but there are some actions in other categories that can affect income
  2. Take some actions to for one-turn income gains (loot)
    1. Might need to do some supervillainy (theft) if push comes to shove
  3. Avoid spending any money (No Lairs, No Marco)
  4. We're allowed to go negative, it's just bad to stay negative. We could buy both companies the turn before or a few turns before which would also give us their combined +4 income on our yearly income turn!
Our next income turn is 5 turns away. So perhaps we should take actions for one time increases in income in order to grab these pickups sooner rather than later in case they get stolen before then.

They will also give us income yearly so they will be hugely beneficial in the long run anyways.

...And with that, Plan: Fairy Book pulled over in a friggin landslide - basically the same as the other plan with the difference of doing the Weird Object with Jumba instead of Sublight Drives.

Fair enough, I guess

[x] Plan: Fairy Book

Since you guys seem convinced that the "Fairy Book" is time-critical and we could table the Drives for now, methinks
