Since;
1. This team has NO Diplo ability.
2. the DC is unknown.
3. The Duke is a highly unstable enemy who has an army with him, and I cannot emphasize this enough chases people across three states because they accidentally gave him a flat tire.
4. He's giving us a fair deal; and
5. We have Janus to reverse engineer the new car.

Let's:
[X] Agree to the Duke's offer

[X] Agree to the Duke's offer
--[X] Don't forget the drug dealer in the trunk.

Was there ever any doubt? It'll be useful to have a 'friendly' face if we ever head back into the Wastes.

We should definitely accept. If this car runs on engine technology we're unfamiliar with, we can take it back for study at DEI.

I agree.
The wasteland is truly massive. And how the trash has damaged/blocked the proper use of roads/highways, making navigating it truly difficult and time consuming, which is especially bad as it takes a lot of resources to survive in the wasteland, so longer travel times are doubly-punishing as they will require more resources, more storage, etc.

Giving the duke a flying car to reverse engineer, will probably greatly accelerate their development of flying vehicles (and perhaps even a flying airship or something), which will end their isolation, making them a lot more relevant as a faction on the world stage, and potentially being a huge wrench to break the masquerade apart (unless we devote a good number of actions to reach out to them and get them to be pro-masquerade). So we're committing to more than just the trade, especially if we want to avoid Russ's loyalty tanking a ton.

Not saying that we shouldn't make the trade because of this, but we should be aware of what might happen as a result of the trade to make an informed decision.

Real talk - do we care about this Masquerade?

Does Russ?

Oh, sure, if the US Government has it revealed what's going on in the midwest it would hurt them, but... they issued the evacuation themselves. While I'll grant that the exact knowledge is unknown, if a bunch of wastelanders pop out with advanced tech, even if it can be somewhat traced to us (we have used this particular car)... do we care overmuch? It's already the least stable and most likely to burst out of the masquerades anyway. This one is going to happen no matter what we do, if we accidentally accelerate it a month I doubt too many people will care.

We're going to forget him in the trunk, aren't we?

The answer is obvious.

Not even sure if joke vote or real vote or vote split. The comedy potential of the guy being forgotten in the trunk and ending up 3 states over before getting out would be good, but for the same approximate level of funny you can get "are we forgetting anything?" "oh yeah, that's right..." (open trunk, drug dealer takes one swing and gets tire iron'd in the face before getting thrown into the new trunk) "nope, nothing now", so even the toonforce shouldn't object.

Any time you have at least one toon in the mix, you have to ask yourself "What Would Russ Do?"

The text of the option makes it clear we will take our WALL-E units and the drug dealer. I also doubt that the Duke of Detroit will want either of those.
Obligatory probably-classic-era reply:

Stuff may or may not include persons, even if in trunk.

Just had a thought but seeing how we are at least decent in our relationship to the goverment what ate the chances we could run for president?
