Pfft. The government doesn't appreciate our honestly. ALL the Kings rule their domains: That's why they're called that. We're just the only one who's willing to say it.
It's actually a grandfathered in term from DVV Classic. Megacorps don't have the same degree of influence or clearly defined boundaries that a governing body would.

Well sure, but there's no need to be a jerk about it. They have very sensitive feelings.

And with the way America seems to have upped their game insofar as military might goes i don't see anything unreasonable about joining them instead of trying to beat them.

Okay, we should really crack down on this. I'm starting to get the feeling that the two of them are isolated at the company and that'll cause loyalty maluses. We need to try and branch out to them, as well as Hego. His loyalty is on a crash-course with 0 and that sets off warning bells in my head. As far as I know, we have yet to have a hero unit with negative loyalty (or, if we have, we have not had one for several turns) and I, for one, don't want to see that streak broken. Am I alone in this?
You know what? I'm actually kinda proud of where the Doof Troop is going. Way back in the beginning, before we had Janna, we got Max and Vanessa but never quite knew what to do with them, since their stats were just so low. They just... Fell into our laps for being the progeny of our two original heroes.

Then along came Janna, and at first it looked like she was just going to be a road for getting at Star. But then Janna succeeded, and kept succeeding, and she kinda grew on us. She quickly outstripped the other and became legitimately one of our better units.

Max and Vanessa were... Kinda left behind. Adrift. But now, we've finally found a way forwards with them. Starting from next turn, we're hoping to Apprentice Max to Russ and Vanessa to Mirage, and they might develop into Hero units that can genuinely stand on their own two feet. What's more, if they pick up their mentors' specialties, we could actually form a well-rounded Quest Squad I'd happily field, once we get Cazador.

On the other hand (of what you're saying, I already explained my reasoning), Xanatos might be the type to respect us more if we admit our ignorance and turn to someone vastly more knowledgeable for help, instead of putting on some thin facade that he can undoubtedly see through in order to maintain our "kingly dignity".

...which as Doof/Diseased pharmacist, is probably rather lacking/nonexistent in the first place.
It's not about pride. It's about the fact that he is still our rival, even if one that we are willing to work with. Ever since the possibility of working with Xanatos and Shego popped up, the thread has just about started worshipping Xanatos (and Shego to a lesser extent). We flat-out shouldn't rely on him because he is not our friend. He is an ally against Toffee and possibly Bill down the line, and a rival for power between the Kings. Nothing more, nothing less.
The price for getting in on the alliance might end up being us recognizing the US government.
If that happens, I am just flat-out dropping the quest. I've said before that outright withdrawing the secession is a dealbreaker for me and I am being genuine when I say it is.

I have goals according to each character a thread plays. For Doof, that is to run Doofania the country rather than DEI the corporation, as suitable for such a wacky King.

"Hollow out the government" and general regulatory capture would more be my idea of what to do as Shere Khan or Xanatos quest.

LOVEMUFFIN is negative at -10, though they might be zero or positive now that their -10 loyalty malus for feeling unimportant might have been taken off.

Beats being dead or having EVERYONE against us.

And the latest psychoanalyzing of doof seemed to point in that direction.

do US government is going to fall eventually that is for certain I don't wanna back away from our breaking away.

Somehow I doubt it. There's not a lot of room for either side to maniuver here. Toffy is a world ending theart they will not risk destruction to try and make a power grab

Known Preferences

Oversized Egos: L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. works best when convinced it is still somehow important.
Old Enemies: L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. despises OWCA after receiving so many beatings at the hands of their agents.

Have L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. partner with someone to spy on our employees and they'll mostly focus on the OWCA, thus exposing Kat? Have I found the seam?

Moratorium appears to be over, as 3 hours have passed:

[x] Find a Potion Seller

This is most likely the best option in the short and long term. Not only can this allow us to further our expansion into potions, we can then make faster use of our advances to benefit ourselves which can then boost our efforts in other ventures. Snowball potential.

If this ends up 3rd, I'll swap to support Xanatos.

We can still break away after US collapses again. Right now the only things that Doofaniq's Declaration of Independence does is existing in Doof's complex state of mind, applying pressure on masquerade and federal resources and government and Russ being not very happy with us at all. And now that we know that both Shego and Xanatos sorta support the government...

I haven't had time to go through the full thread, but it seems obvious Xanny is propping up the government for the eventuality that Toffee invades.

It might be sensible to join the pro government alliance. Esp if Shego's already in it.

If we can do the decode transmission action and get an alliance with the robots so much the better.
In retrospect, yeah.

So I was half right when I said that the Feds were ramping up to reassert control. It's just that they're looking to try and fend off a multidimensional warlord, not reconquer territory. Maybe. They might do that anyway in order to consolidate power and resources before aforementioned multidimensional warlord shows up. So still in our best interests to get on their good side and help them ramp up.

I like how even when I'm wrong, I'm still right :V

Potion seller tempts me with the possibility of having Doof interact with someone who won't sell him their strongest potions but Janna's contacts are probably the ¡FUN! kind so yeah. Maybe they can give their own scoop as to what's up for auction? Yeah I know Xany is the option for really scoping out what's for sale.

This will either be a very impressive thing that she's using for deeply unimpressive stuff (fireworks supplier here, boot sledding in canon) or she found a beanie supplier who charges half as many tennis balls per unit. Should be fun no matter what.

But honestly I don't care what actions ends up being picked. Lazy turns are so fun ;P
