That's a fair question to ask, Ex. To keep it brief, I am a QM aide. I suggest things and write up aspects of the quest but full control will always remain with MIH.
For transparency's sake, I write omakes, the hero cards, and some interludes MiH posts under his account. I do some proofreading of updates and was the one who conceived/did the outline for the Xanadu quest, all with QM approval.
To get to the point, I do have access to information the readers of the quest would not, but I did not write my plan with that knowledge in mind. It was more smashing together and eyeballing things I liked from other plans, tweaked on user request. A median of what it looked like other users wanted without double-stacking two quests for the next turn or putting off Xanadu any longer.

Why are people choosing Kitsune over Shego? Can't we just get her next turn?
People are assuming that part of the tarot reading about a female ally for Janna may refer to Kitsune.
Also, genuine need for a back-up Diplomat that may finally free Goofy out of permanent front-line duty.

Murazor did mention the reason why she finally triumphed over Shego, but people also want an Occult unit which is actually useful. Janna will probably be busy on Quests and Tobe is Tobe.

Huh, it seems that Questosaurus lost its Dennis meme vote. But now that Tobe is actually assigned to something, I think it's a waste to have him on Toffee when he could help our Occult action by quite a bit. Doing raw rolls in a category sucks a lot. I think putting Wile E. on Insuricare is worth not going through the records; I don't think we will find something huge there, just another lead to sink our actions into, and we have enough as it is. It's best to have the increased efficiency, I think.
Bruh, that plan has a raw Occult roll; contacting Shego is nice but more Occult Heroes are essential towards making any progress in the category whatsoever.

After this, I don't see myself drafting plans very often. It was fun to try a plan of my own for a change, but the concerns about a conflict of interest are valid and legitimate. The last thing I want to do is unintentionally railroad the quest by swaying both sides of the game.

I want to contact Shego, I don't think recruiting Kitsune is so essentially as to need to be done now. Also contacting Shego could open new actions, like, we could have gone with Shego to the action if we just contacted her before.
