Going nuclear would be telling Hana if it came down to it, he would abandon Leaf to go missing nin with Hana if it came down to it, but would require Hazou actually believe that and an opsec-worthy place to tell her.

Is this something Hazou could do, regarding a specific conversation that Hazou remembers @eaglejarl @Velorien @OliWhail?

I was thinking of places that Hana might assume Mari manipulated Hazou... and the one that springs to mind is in the beginnings of Hazou's ideas for uplift, just after Mountain and before leaving to Hot Springs. Coincidentally, it's also (mostly) an OPSEC-friendly conversation for Hazou to relay to Hana.

I'll always vote for Hana stuff, it seems.

As for the iron nerve recreating conversations, if it works on movement chains that long (and not the individual sub-parts) I suspect it would only work on Hazou's side of the conversation for obvious reasons.

Edit: Incidentally, we haven't really harnessed the Iron Nerve as a perfect mnemonic, have we? That might be useful. Even if it can't memorize speech, it could memorize a sequence of moves and each movement could correspond to a letter or a word or something. Or Hazou could write something and then have a perfect record that way even if he destroys the writing.

Correct. it's not really a perfect solution, but Hana can at least trust that Hazou's reenacting the sides as well as he can.

I'm the QM for A Writer's Quest.

My players decided to go for a collaborative work, after a few exploratory pieces in their setting. Even managed to make the mental health rolls for a rerelease of one of the formative works of their setting in spite of all of their players' (goddamn players going meta, I swear...) best efforts.

  • Research Keiko's suggestion on chakra intensity detection.
  • Next, research directional chakra emission detector.
 
What if we tell Mari we're doing obviously stupid social things? Then she'll have no choice but to help us.

"Hey, hope you're feeling better. Anyway, gotta go ask to bake cookies with Kakashi and invite Sasuke to a cheap ramen dinner. Bye!"

...okay, realistically a healthy Mari-sensei would just wait on the sidelines and cackle at the inevitable fallout.
But given her current state, maybe we could guilt her into helping. (It might even be a good way for her to start reforming herself?)

Hm maybe introduce Noburi? Talk with her about Mist and how likely it is that he can meet his close family again? What is their status?

We could also ask about the Mori, trying to figure out if they are all that screwed uo or just Keiko? We could try to figure out if Ami really hates Keiko, maybe mom has some insight.

Obviously also tell her Akane broke up with us Hazou, say it's 'complicated'.
