I think the heal-beam is a smarter plan than the senzu bean. Among other things because all things considered I'd rather have Jaffur on our side than Apra, and we KNOW getting him to take a senzu bean when he's out cold is a princely pain in the ass.

If we can get one up and fighting it becomes orders of magnitude easier to get the other one up too, and even Yammar's masochism training (his training for the Dazarel was to be able to tank hits, as I recall) can't outmatch 3 SSJs without some truly catastrophic rolls.

It's giving Yammar free rein to act as he wants. He could heal either Vegeta or Dandeer, or shoot us again to make absolutely sure we're not getting back up.

Seems likely, although Kakara did not personally witness such a thing happening.

    You're sitting in a class of twelve, at a desk just to the back and right of the center. This is your (Advanced, by dint of covering more than Senzu Bean administration) Medicine class, and just as the last student sits down, the teacher walks in.
    Sensei Perrim is plump for a Saiyan, and very animated. She's also sitting at fourteen and a half million power units, and you think it's her resting level, because you haven't felt it flicker once. (That's fascinating, but unless you transform you won't have enough time to think it over before she talks, and you need to hear this at a reasonable speed.)
    "The first thing you should know about ki healing is that it doesn't work on corpses. This may seem obvious, but it's an important point; unlike surgery, the systems we care about decay too quickly to be readily divined from autopsy."
    You raise your hand. She points to you immediately. "Yes, Kakara?"
    "Is that why when Son Goku got sick, is was so hard to heal him? Because Earth's doctors didn't know much about ki?"
    "Very good! Yes, from what we can tell the Heart Plague was much closer to being a curse than a virus. A regular disease couldn't have fed on his ki like it did. But that's not today's topic."
    She turns to the chalkboard, waves her hand, and in one of the most impressive displays of telekinesis you've ever seen, she uses a dozen pieces of chalk to draw a picture very quickly. Even at three times her power level, you can barely follow it.
    "This is a Saiyan ki network. You'll need to memorize the eight chakras, the pattern that release valves correlate to musculature, and all the major coils. Moreover, you'll need to learn how they look from any angle, on any build.
    "This knowledge is the largest differentiator between an invisible force blast-" she whips around and her desk plant explodes, "-and a ki transfer without the recipient's aid." The dry grass surrounding the abruptly-pruned bonsai turns green and straightens up.
    You notice that she's grinning. This is going to be a fun class.​

    I mean, in part, but there's also the bit about how saiyan biology and how it simply cannot be understood through autopsy.

    Ah, that's not what I meant to say. I meant to say it was very difficult to understand via autopsy, because the most important circulatory system is gone. (Or at least, it is for ki healing purposes. Perrim is a Ki Control genius, not a broadly educated medic.)

    I can get that but the thought goes that this is literally the most vulnerable part of the entire rest of the fight since almost all plans after this hinge on us having Dandeer so we should maximize our odds of success now rather then save the memory to boost our odds of success later.

    Besides we always have other memories such as the one of Dandeer framing Jaffur to use later if need be.

    Surely since he'll forget it (depending on how long that takes and how much the spells on him will interact...hmm) we can reuse it?

    Actually that's an idea.

    Best case scenario the mind control spell and the mind wipe spell don't interact well, either causing mental failure or just flat knocking him out.

    that would be nice, but it's pretty unlikely
    He'll probably hesitate for the seconds necessary for the mindwipe to take place, and that's it

    also, 2 hours to dbz abridged new episode on twitch! (i gave the wrong time before :p )

    Honestly, I just don't think he can stop us from getting to Dandeer even with the distraction, so it's a waste anyway.

    I would be surprised if it worked more than once, but it's certainly worth trying!

    I mean, it has to erase his memory every time. Logically, we should be able to throw it at him everytime, plus the horror of remembering he's going to forget, Jaron style.

    Why would it not?

    If his mind is wiped then surely as far as he's concerned every time we blast it at him it's the first time all over again a first time he can't remember.

    Though that being said, we are going to be doing the IT and any potential blaring at the same time right? Don't want to signal to him that we're doing stuff before we're ready so he can react.
