@LuciDreamer, @ALanos, you voted for everything except the steppe. Now that we are surely not going there, do you still want to approval vote ignore?
@Chiperninerm You also approval vote for both bribe and ignore, if you just don't want to go to steppe, you can drop ignore for a chance of peace.

FYI, two of your voted (ignore and bribe) are currently the top two leading options. If you have an opinion on which of those you want winning specifically, consider changing your vote accordingly.

I'm pretty sure the weighted vote is representative of the reaction of the People?

That's why killing them all is worth 100 times more than attempting to talk to them.

Because our People hate them due opposite values and a Legacy that allows hating them within pur values

Rage Against the Steppes - Always have a casus belli with Subdue Tribe or Humiliate War Goal against steppe nomads

Anyone else weirded out at how quickly the isolationism came up?

No it makes Complete Sense, because that cultural behavior reflects our play-style which always favored towards isolationism

We Never sought diplomatical Ties if we could avoid nor took we ever any Trading or diplomatical actions After King of the Hill Never, because we never had to with the drip

So it makes sende that the people we have Reigned over since the Dawn of Time are in favor of Political Choices that lead to their success in the last

Also, I think I have to agree that the vote weighting mechanic is a very awkward one.

It's not, it's just honest and that is Not something the thread is used to
Before we were very much like the nobility that so many of this thread painted as the Devil himself and just talked among ourself in order to find our consense
Now however the people we Reign have a Voice of their own within the Voting, which is the weighting
That is something that the thread is not used and as we are suddenly are confronted with the Civilisation we have raised, Not something that everybody likes

When a nomad gets a bit pushy with their demands I don't think our first response should be an Exterminatus. Let them attack us first where we're strongest instead of rushing into the steppes if we must fight.

Tbh, we never went that much with isolationism - this here is mainly the result of going full internal in the first vote. Yeah, it was 35 minutes and we never knew there was two options in play, or that first timeskip will go through 500-1000 years, but that's just pretty much me being salty and complaining from hindsight.

Meh, let's give the mongrels a chance.

Here is the point against ignore: if we do that, the chieftain has no choice but to attack us if he wants to save face before his subordinates. In contrast, if we ignore his demands but give him standard bribes, he might not be satisfied personally, but he will at least be able to spin it into success politically if he doesn't think attacking us is expedient.

And then just in case

[X] [Steppe] Reach out to further relations with this successful warlord (x0.1)

 Ok, I thought the x10 multiplier in the last vote was a little much. But an x.1 and an x10 multiplier in the same vote? :o I feel that this game mechanic may have been pushed to a highly dubious position and it is likely to cause much salt. With that in mind, I'm gonna vote and then go hide until this is over. Good Luck.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Ymar,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our land, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender! Death to the barbarians!
