huh, what do you know, The Last Hope Inn is actually near where we are coming from.
somehow, someway, that location always becomes relevant when going to Norcsa.

I don't think they've got the facilities for 500 guests.huh, what do you know, The Last Hope Inn is actually near where we are coming from.

It would not literally be nothing. Knowing that they were alive to snub us would answer several questions we had. (Have).
Might help answer the question of weather that axe Kragg got was Norse or chaos dwarfThat doesn't mean that we cannot find interesting loot there though...
I am pretty sure that Kragg and Borek will be interested in any sample of Norse Runecraft that we can find.

See, that's the advantage of being a learned necromancer: Even if the foxes get in the henhouse, you can still keep your chickens.I see we're counting chickens when you've yet to even check the henhouse for eggs, and it's been occupied by foxes for eighteen decades.
If it makes you feel better, everyone in those Dwarven settlements is probably long dead.[posts and posts about all the cool shit to see on the northern route]

It is as good way of passing time as any other...I see we're counting chickens when you've yet to even check the henhouse for eggs, and it's been occupied by foxes for eighteen decades.
After all, there are so many other worse options to pick from. We've seen dwarves partnered with Hashut, with Slaanesh, and with Beastmen. Anyone up for some Nurgledwarves?I would not be surprised if BoneyM decides to make the fate of the Norse Dwarfs be something other than canon's "all these Dwarf holds that have stood for thousands of years are wiped out in a less than a year."
Or worse, Horned Rat Dwarfs...After all, there are so many other worse options to pick from. We've seen dwarves partnered with Hashut, with Slaanesh, and with Beastmen. Anyone up for some Nurgledwarves?
Dwarves sacrificing Norscans to the Old Ones, good sign or bad sign? After all, there are so many other worse options to pick from. We've seen dwarves partnered with Hashut, with Slaanesh, and with Beastmen. Anyone up for some Nurgledwarves?

The thing you're missing is that we'll probably be spending 2 or 3 actions a week on casting RoW.To be honest, I'm only seeing three, maybe four AP worth of quests—the chaos cup, investigate norse dwarf ruins, investigate hellpit, and investigate the norsemen, and the only two I think are interesting are the cup and the ruins (which I expect to be empty, anyway).
We have three weeks before we reach kislev, so that's 12 AP total, which gives us at least 8 social actions by my reckoning.
Then we have to cross troll country to get to Praag, which could be another two to three weeks (8-12 AP), and the only quest worthy stuff there is probably going to be procedurally generated sites of interest and random encounters (at least, I'm not aware of anything of note in that region in canon).
There's the Chamon Derek. Evil Chaos grave mound stuffed with treasure but even raiders don't touch it cause it's evil.(at least, I'm not aware of anything of note in that region in canon).
If only there was some way we, a Lady Magister and amateur Battle Wizard, could get through a locked door.It could be a blank door with no answers and no way to get in.
Kraka Drakk took 88 years to fall.I mean, I would not be surprised if BoneyM decides to make the fate of the Norse Dwarfs be something other than canon's "all these Dwarf holds that have stood for thousands of years are wiped out in a less than a year."
If only there was some way we, a Lady Magister and amateur Battle Wizard, could get through a locked door.
But you're probably right, nothing to be done. Some things are beyond even us.
It'd be more like, figuring out which blank bit of wall on the whole Karag is actually the door.If only there was some way we, a Lady Magister and amateur Battle Wizard, could get through a locked door.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The thing you're missing is that we'll probably be spending 2 or 3 actions a week on casting RoW.
... We're going to find so much money there, aren't we?There's the Chamon Derek. Evil Chaos grave mound stuffed with treasure but even raiders don't touch it cause it's evil.
I mean, if we want to screw around with stuff even Norscans won't touch because it's so cursed by Chaos, sure.
We're off-roading basically the whole way. I don't see us spending anything less than 2, what we did for the Dolgan territory.Still, I doubt we'll commit more than one action to it a week.
