Nice work Stephan! Hopefully he wins early so he can send some men our way.

Good to know that the Dark Elves are learning that the Empire was ready for them and now are experiencing defeat at the hands of an "inferior race" working with their estranged cousins.

Well, I would like to be the first to congratulate the Eonir on their newly acquired navy. Sure, it needs some TLC and they'll probably want to spend some time training up before they actually do anything with it but they probably just saved a bunch of money.

Go Stephen! Go Naraiel! Massacre the overconfident slaving raiding fuckers!

Seriously, by the sounds of it the Druchii were completely unprepared for what they sailed into.

2. Urzen the Unrelenting, a former General of Strigos, possibly Ushoran's top military advisor in fact. He has a strong, steadily growing army deep in the Forest of Shadows. A little insane, given he drills his unthinking undead army every night, but his forces are slowly growing with time. He has also managed to place agents and build up a minor intrigue network of his own to watch for Lahmians and - in an ironic twist - do to them what they regularly did/do to Strigoi. By which I mean revealing said Lahmians to the authorities. Urzen's greatest wish is not to rebuild Strigos, nor to be worshipped as a king or god as many other Strigoi are fond of. He has one goal, one target: raising a large and powerful enough army to lay siege to the Silver Pinnacle itself and then tear Neferata's head off and shit down her throat. In canon, he was still in the process of doing that. However, in DoDA canon Zacharias would not have tolerated his forces growing to a certain point, and I assure you that the players would have noticed General Urzen the Unrelenting the 2nd Generation Strigoi if he'd gotten involved in the Vampire War. So where is he? Well...who knows, eh? But he didn't get the title of Unrelenting for being easily killed, I'll tell you that much.

It seems that Urzen and the Empire have compatible goals. If Frederick manages to locate Urzen and open channels of communication with him, could we perhaps reach an alliance of convenience with Urzen? Or at least a non-aggression pact?

They're human we can take them easy, we've done it for millenia.
Or
Drukari: we gonna raid and burn your entire empire
The trident: lemme ask our gods and counts
Drukari: wha-
The Trident: they said no and die

Ah, now this brings somewhat to my heart it does. Now that the rest of the Druchii fleet are dead, should all go well, they can rally again and March north to Oustland and from their either help us finish the battle in Salkalten, or if not, give the needed reinforcements needed for a guerrilla warfare against the black Arcs.

Big ooffff for the the druchii. This means we'll have reinforcements. Just need to hold out.
I mean we already had reinforcement on the way- the fleet of manaan still hasn't shown up, let alone the baby elf daughter and whatever relief forces she's pulled together and the nebulous possibility of barak varr boxing in the arcs

yeah no fleet means we can harry the lumbering black arcs as they attempt to pull out the druchii are up sh*t creek without a paddle

The Odelia signal fires made me remember something that we actually can research, fireworks, signal fireworks.

Holy hell, Magnus with fireworks signals would be goddamn dangerous.

It's super cool seeing more Laurelorn stuff too.

Always damn heartening seeing races fight side by side as well.
I know the memes about an order tide, but I really like the idea of Eonir, dwai, and humans of the empire and Bretonia smashing chaos and monsters as Freddy and Nat Retire

She might have gotten scalped apparently. Though they should have brought her body or head in that case.
If this is the case there be a GRUDGE we can settle, also Elf Kaine chosen is gonna go on a bloody rampage if that's the case. I mean the dwai gods might even be pissed first elf since the war of the beard to enjoy ale what a travesty

I think general thread consensus is that the scalp thing was a bluff, as if the Druchii were in a position to grab that they'd have shown off her entire head. Most likely either they only managed to grab some hair, or it's completely made up and was just from a random human/elf with the right hair colour.

A reminder, Stephan beat a lot of ass during his game. A lot . He ain't no push over. Also, That is an interesting use of Bright Magic. I suppose that's in the Magical Coordination training slot? Cool. Flaming weapons are nice.

To add to this, the final theory (and the one I like the most) on this subject is that it's Eldyra's bio father's scalp, as whatshisfuck is the canonical killer of her dad, an event that has already come to pass.

In any case, though, that's a big fuck yeah for Nordland! Could mean reinforcements from both the sea and land incoming soon for Ostland as well, something I think we can all agree would be a massive W. Still no sign of the Slayer pirates too, unless they're included in the conscripted group at the end of the post. If they aren't there, hopefully that means we'll be seeing something from them soon too
