If the Romulan is asking for Klingon assistance things must be worse than we thought.
Klingons are the best meatshields!
If the Romulan is asking for Klingon assistance things must be worse than we thought.
Always a good day for them to die instead of us!
They could take the place of our redshirts then.
And thus the potential Klingon place in the Federation is resolved!
It's probably true that a cure is possible, but it's gated behind Vaccine 2 at the least.I think you should delay for as long as you can. Sweet science might yet provide a way to reverse the effects of the Biophage. A cure is not impossible, we are already closing in on a vaccine and can have McCoy on the case fron now on.
... something that strikes me: the biophage didn't have Kadesh broadcasting that 'all's well, the invaders are repulsed' or some similar deception, unlike what it did with Dunwich. It's likely that the biophage simply didn't care enough to try to fool the 20,000 people on Galaar III, but it is notable. After all, if the biophage were laying a trap for the Romulan Fleet in Area 2, posing as a planet that's held off the biophage could be a clever deception. (One that, to be fair, might be beyond its capabilities). They have heard nothing from Kadesh in over a month ... after warnings went out of an invasion by horrible biomechanical warships.
Well, if this turns out to be a semi-peaceful First Contact, we have Blue Kirk on the case.... something that strikes me: the biophage didn't have Kadesh broadcasting that 'all's well, the invaders are repulsed' or some similar deception, unlike what it did with Dunwich. I don't know, I'm probably reading too much into this.
I'm nervous about using the Klingons, because I'm rather worried about their dinky little Birds-of-Prey rapidly turning into enemy suicide ships. K'tingas would be helpful, though.
Get T'Lorel to do it.Well, if this turns out to be a semi-peaceful First Contact, we have Blue Kirk on the case.

You could have it patched up and out there with -1 Combat+Hull+Shield if you wish to.But, as @AKuz suggested to me, could it also include a partially-repaired Sarek, a la Yorktown at Midway?

You need to include your previous votes or they won't be counted.I say that we do it, we need everything out there at once, with a Crew like her's she's still better than a standard Excelsior.
