Good morning everyone

We've designs to send Enterprise, another Explorer Corps ship, and possibly some others in a taskforce headed by Commodore ka'Sharren to accompany the Kadeshi on their Great Journey and blow up anything that tries to kill them, if we can.Good morning everyone

Miranda refits. Remember those? We ordered it, we got it, and the best time to slot them in is putting them in right after a Connie-B comes out. They fill the berths nicely until we can start making Reniassances in those berths, while at the same time letting us save our resources for Renaissances and to start the Ambassador prototype.
So agreed, we have no reason to ask for a Constellation refit this year... because we're going to have our hands full refitting Mirandas.

Well, Starfleet and the man himself didn't ever really accept it when it was Kirk, way back when. See The Motion Picture, Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home...she isn't an Explorer Captain anymore and people need to accept that.
I'm all for sending the Enterprise, a few CentaurAs, and Nash along for this trip. Even if it's one last hurrah for her, I'd love to see it happen.
Edit: For that matter, maybe we should invite the Romulans along for the trip!
I have an idea of what we could do if the Romulens do in fact not only feel bad about the Kedeshi situation but also sympathies with them. We approach them about the possibility of forming joint escort fleet with them for the Kedeshi exodus.
As was pointed out before, they've reason to care. Rommies aren't completely inhuman in any case, but here specifically there is a species whose current situation closely parallels early Romulan history, and more importantly it's all Romulus' fault in a way that has well and truly been shown to hurt their sense of honor. They might not help, but I suspect they will, and if they were to harm the Kadeshi I would for one cry foul at the poor characterization.I tend to think that the Romulans are more looking at the Kadeshi and wondering if they would make good slaves.
These are not people who tend to "feel bad" about the suffering of other species.
And I am opposed to sending Nash, she isn't an Explorer Captain anymore and people need to accept that.
but we don't know where they're going. Somewhere in our space? Just past our borders?
Well, you know what I mean

One Constitution-B class ship (Starfleet Build Order NCC-1748) to commence at Ana Font Berth 1 in 2311.Q1
And updated that too. That should be 2311.Q2. It can only start after the Zephyr clears out of the berth at the end of Q1.
Also, take a look at the front page and tell me where you would like to take "a few Centaur-As" from. The anti-Orion effort doesn't really need ships, right?
