I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Gain, New actions unlocked. You can do great things with a chapter of the Metalsmiths Guild. The Engineers simply hosting tournaments has been a boon to Khazagar's reputation, but working in tandem with the Metalsmiths would allow you to vastly increase the number of Runecraft Kraka Drakk produces. But of course, the axe over your head is the fact that the House will not look kindly upon such things.

Gain, ??? A second Guild will sponsor competitions inside Khazagar. You have a better idea about what may happen this time. The most obvious result would be an uptick in the kind of Runecraft that the Metalsmiths Guild would care most about, usually weapons and armour, with the occasional talisman or helmet. Much the same way that the Engineers Guild's competitions caused the amount of war machines to increase. But in the long term you'll expect to see more smiths form relationships with visiting Runesmiths and vice versa.

I am fine with either option. Honestly, if there was a single Guild I'd be willing to risk this over it would be this one.

The Metalsmiths Guild, out of all the others, will have the greatest impact on Dawi society if Runesmiths start working more with them. Plus, the whole "vastly increased amount of Runecraft created" thing seems AMAZING.

I'm not sure it's worth the risk, but if it'd take it for any guild it would be this one.

Why is Skaudardrengi Karstahs idea/ project now? We (or st least I) had been looking forward to it almost four actual years and now she's the one who gets to dream it up and head its making? Am I messing something in the plan that said she would be in charge of this?

Or am I having a reading comp failure and the project was only dreamed up and desinged by her but the crafting and thus the feet will go to Snorri?
Either way, tasting some sour grapes right now.

Geeze, what is an adamant dragon gronti supposed to defend against? The entire horde of an everchosen, the everchosen included?

Remember that Smeider (MS Guild Ancestor...along with kinda Grungi) is the Ancestor most closely associated with Thungi. Remember Valaya's axe is something that they worked on together. They're true brothers and if we wanted to risk the axe falling it would be with this Guild.

The plan for the turn put 1 Karstah AP on it, so she gets to make the design, and get started on a construct trait (which Snorri has 3 levels of).

The AP for the construction will be a split of Karstah and Snorri actions, so they both will get some Construct XP.

And the Runes will probably be just a Snorri action, so if there's a mythical deed linked to it, it goes to Snorri.

Can confirm, it's as IronFist said. When I cooked up this plan I intended for Snorri to do most of the building part.
