I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.
It's gotta be an amulet for Gimli if we have enough chain for it. Otrek thought he was free but the debt only grows. It'd be even better if we upgrade Otrek and Gloin's armor at the same time.
Armoured Maidens and Grave Wardens are the only requests left - A Princely Wedding Gift is gone. So unless I somehow missed us taking the Gimil commission we lost out on the chance for that sweet Ravnsvake favor

If Smednir wants to comission us... then we should dedicate a whole turn to him. I mean, use all the actions and productivity bonuses we can cram in there

As far as i understand it, the "commission" is the Ancestor dabbing on us, telling us he knew we would achieve it and "comissioning" a charm we would have made anyway to put on our Ancestor gromril collectible chain. So he is not actually commissioning us for anything. And is showing us there are heights we have yet to approach. Noone can make wafer thin gromril either ,just like they could not have made chain.
So I've come up with a plan to do both the Valaya and Gazul commissions and achieve maximum overflow. These are easily the biggest commissions Snorri has ever had the privilege to make so I think if there has ever been a commission to overflow the shit out of it is these.
This Plan leaves next turn free in case we need to do Part 2 of the Gromril Chain to be able to use it in these commissions. The two single actions on T36 and T37 can easily be moved to the next two turns or merged to make two turns using 4 actions on the same commission or removed entirely for only minus 1 overflow on each which would be fine with me.
This plan also leaves a spare action in two/four turns for things like material research and Odd Places or the commissions for Orra's Limbs and Gimli's commission. It also in the event that using Gromril Chain in the commission requires extra actions allows us to do so.
I've got two ideas of Smednir knows us making Gromril Chain
1. The Thungni bust on Snorri's workshop is actually a bug from Thungni to keep an eye on us
2. Gazul, just Gazul. After all he breaks through a cordon of living guards, what's stopping him to check on us?

3. Zharrgal, the hammer we would of course be using, bears Smednirs ancestor rune. It's not beyond the bounds of reason that he can somehow tap that for awareness of what we're doing.
You know, while we got the charm completed, there's still the mementos as a set to consider. In which case we still need something from Morgrim and Thungni. Something to keep in mind as the time for their departure grows nearer.

Sets come in 5s. Because there are only 5 items you can make and wear, and Engineering things don't count towards sets, unless you made a Gronti and are making equipment for that Gronti; in which case the maximum would be 6 rather than 7. 5 runic items, 5 ancestors... ... Eh, probably too hard to pull off. But, just as a sort of neat example or reference or mirror thing, it's, well, neat. Like -- we've got the full 'set' of items here, much like a 5-item set of rune combos, which is neat sorta.
As for Thungni... We're descended from Thungni. Not sure what else we can get from him. I guess Thungni's and Morgrim's mementoes were subsumed into Grungni's necklace with its now-7 ancestor runes.
At least we've met both Thungni and Morgrim? Thungni at the Conclave, Morgrim when he came back from his father's march to the north, and built some things for the Kraka and Gryphons and wrote a book on engineering and war.
So, I'm for doing the wedding gift and the prosthetics on two different turns. The prosthetics on Turn 35, the wedding gift on turn 36. That way, we can put 3 actions into each request, making it a really impressive piece of work!
I mean heck. The prosthetics are going to be three whole engineering items. With 9 runes (3 of them Forged Limb runes admittedly, so more like 7 different runes total) so that means there's tons of potential there, right? (Plus, made of Adamant!) Lots of overflow room there.
And the Talisman I also want to go big-effort on. Though I'm fondly leaning towards ???-Stoicism-Brotherhood, probably Grungni (which Ancestor Rune is the closest thing to 'rulership' or ruling that Dwarfs have? Is it Grungni or Valaya?) almost as much as I am towards Grungni-Grimnir-Brotherhood. Currently I think still leaning more towards the GGB one, though.
So, if we're spending 3 actions on making Prosthetics, then...
I feel we should spend the 1 spare action on finishing on Zhufazul. Because hey, I want to read more about Grimnirzan and what it could be used for! If we can use it for the Wedding Gift request in our amulet idea, then that'd be awesome. (Though... Grimnirzan + Oathgold + Hearthstones... I wonder what an item with stuff like that, might be like? Could be neat.)
Turn 35:
*3 actions on prosthetics
*1 action on Zhufaful, to complete it
Turn 36:
*3 actions on wedding gift Talisman
*1 action on... something?
... Wait, no, that's wrong. Crap.
I forget: we didn't spend any actions on the Wedding Gift yet! That means that we haven't done the Design Phase of it yet. Doh.
Turn 35:
*3 actions on prosthetics
*1 action on the Wedding Gift talisman, to Design it
Guess Zhufazul completion is put off till turn 36.
One thing I'm thinking of is using a theme option for the Gimli talisman, since that should make it easier to get a consensus on it and means the combo comes down to a dice roll. We can throw around ideas about what kingship means or what runes best suit what we think Gimli needs, but Snorri does know the runes better than us and can probably grasp what to use better than we can to achieve our idea.

IMHO if we go for the talisman we should be trying for a set combo with Trollslayer and Drake's Mantel. Either something like MWandering, Speed, Lightning, for a Lightning-themed combo, or MWandering, Speed, Accuracy for a wind themed combo. Then have the whole set have a sky themed set combo.

I was wondering if there's a post with all the Dwarven Word Language Trivia/Translations Lexicon so far or do you basically have to check every story post for each of them?
I really enjoy how naturally the Dwarven language is used and interspersed in story to make the verisimilitude feel more engaging. Although I find myself needing to go back to check what the words mean from time to time.

Sounds good to me. What kind of theme, function or description write-in are you thinking of going with? Inputting into it? "Delegation, wisdom, stoicism, and learning"?
Perhaps the phrase "A king is a craftsman..."? The phrase that Snorri started off his speech with. It's short and punchy. Might be cool to include that line in the gift itself somewhere, in some runic inscription like a sort of tagline or something. To remind the boy and his descendants of that.
