Could we go for turning them into chunky salsa without breaking their Gems? Rin could put them back together.

I like the idea of forcing the grief in their soul gems to turn into spikes radiating outward as an attack. In fact, if anyone puts that as part of the offense in their vote, I'll be all for it.

I find it highly likely that any overly long plans will get disrupted by our enemies actions anyway, like it has been the case for the last few updates.
Since Cannon's vote includes a "when it appears safe" clause, everything after our attempt to snatch Moe's gem, that is covered in the vote may not happen at all, if the attacks continue. I'm not saying it is a bad plan or anything like that, but it is prone to interruptions.
 
I find myself at the Quester's Dilemma: stay up for the update, or go to bed and risk having to read a short story's worth of posts when I wake up.
