Just so you know, Akiko chatting it up with Fukushima doesn't mean she's going to use them to try and strongarm us. It could just be, she's going to pay them their seeds so they can leave (Not that I'm buying that in the least but there is a fairly innocent explanation possible).
And I'm Mother Teresa. At best she's telling them to stay put until she gives the signal or something.

[X] Ask about the last two Sendai girls
[X] Have Mami take over negotiations
[X] Go investigate Akiko.

We don't need to bring in Homura just yet. The three of us already have enough power to handle this. Plus I'm reasonably certain she can't Timestop all the way to us, conduct a battle in timestop, then timestop all the way back.

... Okay. As I see it, we can either go do something proactive at Akiko, potentially placing us in a better tactical situation, or hold the fort and keep pushing for a change of leadership and working negotiations until she (possibly - probably) crashes the party with her hired goons, giving us the diplomatic edge. I'm leaning towards the latter, because if she opens up on us in front of everyone, there will be no question whatsoever whether we're justified in reducing her to her component atoms, and I'm just about sick of this shit.
So... I'm thinking it's time to move this group. I don't want them to be sitting ducks with Fukushima here.
They're capable combatants in their own right, and it'd be difficult for them to be safer than 'right next to a hostage'.
Unless Akiko's jumped the rails entirely, in which case all bets are off.

Eh, I suppose if we really end up needing her we can just tell her to time stop and find us at any time (keep in mind that we spent the greater part of an arc in time stop). Earlier vote changed.

I'm still baffled as to how we ended up with 10 seperate votes when there are only really 2 points of dissension.

-[x] Assuming that the University group's antipathy is mainly directed at Akiko, it may be possible to talk them into allowing Yumi to come to the table to get healed, and for her to take over for Akiko. From there, you'll hand off your role to Mami, and while they work out something that will at least last for the short-term, you and Sakura will go talk to Akiko and see if you can make enough headway into her issues to allow for something longer to come about.

Also,

The timestop fatigue only works if it only happens rarely! :V
Now renamed Akiko fatigue.

You know, we could just talk to Akiko about what she's doing rather than immediately rushing off to confront her.

[x] Telepathy Homura. Patch in Mami and Kirika. Ask about the Fukushima group, their members, powersets and general disposition.
[X] Reassure Rin. Ask her to link you to Fukushima group to see about their seed demand.
[X] Ask Akiko whether she wants your help on arbitrating seed demand with Fukushima.

Borrowing old Mura vote there :p Homura won't be likely to want to leave Madoka alone. Not convinced of the point of following Akiko, seems overly hostile - though she did start it, countering with a friendly play is excellent for making Sabrina appear naive and naiver.

Would changing the location be a possible option for us? How long have we been sitting in the cafe anyeay.
Grief lamps!

More importantly, I'm left askance at what location would be better. Another cafe?

Speech aside, though, you're not completely wide-eyed idealist. You shift the sling bag full of marbles sitting next to your chair, and let the marbles drift silently out. They're small enough to go without notice as you carefully spread them out over the area, keeping them to the shadows.
Oh wait. I missed that part. Okay, the area is pretty secure. We just have to be wary of snipers. If we leave the area, those defenses will be lost.

[x] Ask about the last two Sendai girls.
[x] Telepathy Homura. Get info on the Fukushima group. Members, weapons, powersets, dispositions ect.
[x] Telepathy Akiko. Note unprofessionalism in leaving the negotiations unannounced. Ask what she's doing.
-[x] If she lies or comes off overly vague, call her out on it.
-[x] Regardless, find out her intentions with the Fukushima group. Be wary of Coobs level omissions.
[x] If an ambush seems likely...
-[x] Telepathy Mami and Kirika. Warn them about Fukushima.
-[x] Urge calm but also warn the UG. See what they want to do.
--[x] If it becomes a problem, make it clear Rin had nothing to do with this. It's all Akiko.

Bleh. I'm not sold on going off alone to investigate. I also want the UG prepared.

You know, it could be that Fukushima telepathed Akiko.

Still, @Muramasa, is there a reason beyond distracting them for withholding Fukushima from Mami and Kirika? I see that you changed your opinion on it.

Does not explain why she left the area unannounced.

Nothing much really. The information is just not quite as vital if Fukushima isn't likely to interfere with us. We can still give Mami and Kirika a heads up after this vote, if it turns out we're jumping the gun.

edit: It's past 5 am here. I'm heading off to bed. Best of luck with the discussion SV.

Just another thought:
Since Akiko apparently knows the Fukushima group well enough to call them in, could the University girls that are sitting right at the table with us know them as well? We could ask them about Fukushima's abilities too. Of course, this applies only if we warn them at all.
Since Fukushima is quite a bit away from Mitakihara Homura may not even know that much about them.

Homura has knowledge of this war. She is acquainted with the Sendai group (at least in a previous loop). She's likely to have knowledge on almost all the participants. And yeah, if we're about to be ambushed, asking the UG about the Fukushima group is a thing we can do.

That would be kidnapping, wouldn't it?
