What I meant was possibly using an euphemism for witching out when talking to others and telling our conversation partners to do the same via telepathy, if applicable, to prevent Mami from getting witchbombed at an inopportune time.
I know this is mostly wishful thinking and probably won't work anyway.

As far as I'm aware, no. We don't plan to reveal the witchbomb to her if we can help it, and if she does learn about the witchbomb she has bigger issues to deal with than the fact that we've kept things hidden from her. The hiding something line was about the lichbomb, if I'm not mistaken.
 
Welp. I've been living for... Two months thinking Mami was not entirely unprepared in case she gets witch bombed.
 
How long's it been in-story? Like a week at most, right? Perfectly reasonable that, especially after how badly she reacted to the one thing, and how we've already told her it was so hard to figure out how to tell her, that we wouldn't say anything about the other thing yet.

Hell, the actual push for the lichbomb was the fact that we'd just recently done the same to Rin and felt like a hypocrite - we've had nothing like that for the witchbomb.
 
Yeah. Mami's meltdown focused less on being rendered down into a candy rock, and more on coobs (the only constant companion she's had for years) tricked her into it and recruiting other girls for contracts.

Unless I've lost count somewhere, it's been 7 days. The first chapter covers one day, Entanglement covers two days, Direct intervention is the timestop chapter, Surface tension, Undue alarm, and Apprehension each encompasses a singe day, and We've got hostiles is covering the current day.

For those keeping track, it has just barely been over a day since we dropped the lichbomb on her, and it damned near broke her. Now is really not the time to be piling on more trauma if we can help it.

Way I see it we have to broach the subject to Mami eventually, in a controlled situation.

Still premature though. She's currently basically held together by the duct tape of Sabrina's attention.
We need progress towards reversing the witchification process before telling her is at all safe.

Incidentally, we probably should drop a general message for girls to deliver their full grief seeds to us for cleansing, free of charge, instead of giving them to QB.

I'm reasonably certain that demonstrating that we can cleanse seeds will get them to do that anyway. I can't imagine any of them being particularly fond of Kyubey after what they've been through, and given that we can renew the grief seeds instead of simply getting rid of it, there is really no reason for them not to do so.
