Yes, I read the same. It is better to communicate well, rather than infer. Several possibilities are covered by that sentence. Also, QM did not voice his reasoning. It is good to understand one another.

Time Space Administration Bureau - because we should give off the impression of being an extraterrestrial extra national force for the muggles, and because with all the magical girls with unlimited magic in the far future of one-single-year, patching holes in reality WILL BE a full time job for magical clerks with salaries and vacation days. Also teleportation padd worldwide to a massive space station base in an alternate dimension with several Book Meguca creating an Infinite Library while the eggheads work on helping Humanity tech up to the stars YES PLEASE!!!

Grief Absolution Partnership - it's what we are, it's what we do, and no one who hears our name at a glance will want to get on the bad side of what sounds like a Specialty Law Firm by making unresearched assumptions.

Sufficient Velocity - it's a good name, no baggage, good phonics, no reason to let it go to waste! Seriously, its satisfactory by every objective measure!

Soul Gem Consultation Company - eh, it's a name...

We might not need to vote on the name, but we do still need to decide what to do after that, and I just realized it's Saturday.

Looking at the planner, I don't think we're going to make that treehouse, but explaining Tokyo to Sayaka's probably still a good idea. Not sure how much time we have for other Tokyo prep.

Cloud 👏 City 👏

Not merely a city in the clouds, but constructed out of clouds.
We create a city in the sky with permission from our mecuga government, then secede from it after criticism of intervening in a serious muggle conflict, then turn it into a kind of theocracy based around Madokami.

Then we kidnap our daughter from an alternate timeline which gains space-time powers from the job being fucked up, then our alternate self comes into our city to try and kidnap back the girl 19 years later to try and pay off gambling debts. Then daughter gains full access to powers and proceeds to kill us in a confusing ending scene.

I don't think we should really let things go on too much longer, so it will be fine to not ask to do anything. Just record interesting science topics, and make sure we contact science partners for sciencapalooza after Tokyo.

Bioshock: Infinite Grief - and yea verily, the Angel Godoka appeared before Lady Vee, and proclaimed her the Prophet, and annointed her courtiers as the saintly founder of the floating city of Walmart - Sister Akemi of the Shield, Sister Miki of the Sword, and Big-Sister Tomoe of the Teacup. Thus it was written in the Days of the Prophet, Credens Justitiam!

Then our daughter hunts us down in a different timeline, hires us to save a magical girl then kills us. Once she's done she loses her magical girl powers. The quest then shift to her, but all our votes manifests as hallucinations of Sabrina giving her advice. She eventually gets lobotomized by Kyubey (Now she has brain damage just like her mother) and ends up orchestrating Homura's transfer to Mitakihara starting the entire story of PMMM.

Anyway I'm casting my vote.
[X] Talk about Tokyo in some more detail, make sure everyone is on the same page.
- [X] Ask for their opinions on our plan and whether anyone wants to bring up any goals or concerns during that meeting.
- [X] Ask if anyone can/wants to work with Madoka and Hitomi on the political side of things.
-- [X] Ask Homura for permission first through telepathy.
- [X] Ask for everyone's e-mail address so we can send them our written report and the brochure, make sure those who are coming read them.
[X] Wrap up the meeting and go home.

I'll second Rainbow_Wailword's vote, with two additions (bolded below)

[X] Talk about Tokyo in some more detail, make sure everyone is on the same page.
- [X] Pick a name for our Alliance - even if just a temporary one - we'll look better at the meeting if we can present ourselves as 'something' instead of an unnamed coalition
- [X] Ask for their opinions on our plan and whether anyone wants to bring up any goals or concerns during that meeting.

- [X] Ask for everyone's e-mail address so we can send them our written report and the brochure, make sure those who are coming read them.
[X] Wrap up the meeting and go home.
- [X]Bonus: enjoy the other girls' confused faces as we mutter about science experiments, enchanted cell/soul-phones, cat videos, moon, cloud and sea-bases... and all the other fun ideas we've sent cascading through Sabrina's head in these past few pages of discussion

Also, my first vote in Adfligo Systema - in fact, my first vote ever on Sufficient Velocity. Woo! :D

-[X] If Nagisa is still with everyone, head straight to her as quickly as safe.
-[X] If Nagisa has left, buy that smartphone, see if that homework session is still on, work on mind protecting enchantments, and covertly book a restaurant for tomorrow's date.

[X] torgamous

I'll be honest, this was a long time in coming. I get that we didn't want to spend Mami's money, so it was the right thing to do then, but it is totes hampering things for texting.

For the ideas about landing on other planets, we are going to either need a week or actual fusion driven torch ships, which would be visible to ground based telescope. We are going to be stuck on the moon untill we can have another girl learn how to fusion engine.

If Yuki can claim a boat, we can throw the boat to Mars and just wait.

I don't know if that will work for impact reasons - I don't think a claimed building stays claimed if it's scattered across a thousand kilometers of martian soil and atmosphere. Emphasis on the atmosphere part of that - an easily acquired boat isn't going to have a thick enough hull to work as a heatshield even briefly, and boats are very large and not very dense.

I said that because a standard hohmann transfer to mars takes 7 months, time we simply don't have considering that we already have girls capible of physics breaking propulsion, but we don't really need to use a standard transfer do we? That would probably be good enough for the inner planets, but I'd bet the travel times would still be crazy for the outer planets.

No, sabrina would perform the capture and landing, she just wouldn't need to be there during the coast phase. I can plot some theoretical trajectories later.

Counterpoint: magic. There's probably some sort of long term enchantment that can mitigate, or outright nullify, impact damage

we can arbitrarily accelerate things in our radius, and use witch powers to enhance things resistance to acceleration while in that radius. We can use this to accelerate in a straight line towards mars and probably get there within a fairly short order. It would still take time since we don't want to accidently accelerate too fast and time dilate ourselves into the future. if we carefully plot acceleration and deceleration it should be fine, but we might leave that to girls who can avoid relativistic effects on time, since we don't want to leave people waiting.

Given that, I'd prefer to not do it and risk leaving people behind (and also possibly dooming the timeline by absenteeism.
