I've got a pamphlet around here somewhere..." You pat your pockets down, and find the pamphlet in hammerspace after a moment.
This is adorably dorky. "Pockets, pockets, wait, I actually left it in another dimension, no wonder I couldn't find it."
Madoka makes a thoughtful noise, leaning over Homura to see. Homura freezes, petrified
For a second I thought that Homura was scared because Madoka was getting information. Then I realized that, no, Homura is just maximum lesbian and Madoka basically flopped on her.

...Recent developments have made bringing along Madoka in that Practical Guide to Evil crossover quest a lot smarter than when we made that choice.

My thoughts, in no particular order:

Oh yes, I have no doubt Madoka would walk all over the Tokyo Council. We need to get her more involved.

Idea! Should we formalize relations with the Saints, Sendai 1 & 2, and other groups with interacted with, like we did with the mercs? Presenting a united, multi city front to the Council could be advantageous. On the other hand, same problem as loading ourselves with mental abjurations.

Of course, Mami is best.

And finally:
A rather hot take, but
It got me thinking
If Sabrina is in fact dewitched Walpurgisnacht
A being created out of a congealed mass of grief, despair and suffering

Does it mean that Sabrina is Walpurgisnacht's fursona Madokami helped her to develop?
I mean, Sabrina is a mammal, technically
:thonk:
i rated this funny because thats the closest thing to screaming

idle thought: I wonder if we should hide a phone booth in 4D.

My first thought: pull out our phone booth (or police box, either or) whenever we want to transform. Duck inside, do a transformation sequence, complete with flashy lights and symbolism. Come out in meguca outfit, stuff phone booth back in N-Space. Make everything super conspicuous and attention-attracting.

???

Profit.

???

Mumihugs.

umm if Madoka starts helping out more in Meguca politics without being a Meguca she is going to need a protection detail clearly.

Homura should be able to protect her. : P

Hitomi gets a detail made of a half dozen Sayaka clones in suits, while Hitomi wears a Kimino.

she might not be a Yakuza princess BUT EVERYONE WILL THINK SHE IS

Really, Catholic school did the exact opposite of preparing Mom. Chronic depression, complex PTSD, insufficient education, and general self-loathing are not conductive to flirting.

Hmm.

Here's a rough prospective vote:

[ ] Toshimichi must be very powerful, to maintain control over all of Tokyo. It's probably better to err on the side of caution, and double up on layers of mental protection.
-[ ] Perhaps an antimagic enchantment, tuned to stop all powers that aren't from our delegation?

[ ] Discuss the potential movement of Oriko with Hitomi.
-[ ] Mention that her powers remain very weak, but have apparently begun to return in altered form.
--[ ] Explain the implications about Oriko's mentality to Hitomi, Sayaka, and Madoka.
--[ ] Discuss any additional precautions that might be needed, given clairvoyance.
---[ ] Prompt Homura to add her input, as appropriate.

[ ] Begin enchantment studies.
-[ ] Follow Mami's advice.
-[ ] Per vote in abeyance.

Hmm, someone remind me, does Kazumi know about our deal with Fukushima? Because if she doesn't, we should tell her about it.

On a more serious note, sleep and food are also non-mandatory, but rather affect her meatsack with their conspicuous absence. And air is even more important to have than food and sleep.

Speaking of sleep being important... I have a sneaking suspicion that a decent chunk of Homura's massive social progress in a fairly short amount of time is simply because we pushed her to actually sleep.

Sounds totally believable to me.
I'm always becoming a little more sociopathic when I don't get enough sleep. Dunno if it's a consistent result for other people, but if I feel that way, there's a chance someone else will feel the same.

Now I get to call my sleep-deprived self "the inner Homura".

Only I'm not a 27 years old lesbian Magical Girl gun aficionado? Not to my knowledge, at least. :V
