True, but the differences honestly seem minimal from how it was implied that post-madokami Sayaka witched out in exactly the same way. Also Rebellion Sayaka prioritized Homework over Kyoko
even though she knew the it was all a lotus eater and had no consequences and she wasn't going to see Kyoko after the whole thing ended for quite a while.
So that says something about her priorities, and I hardly think having Madoka around looking disappointed whenever she didn't turn in an assignment would make her worse about that kind of thing.
 
And if she doesn't respond to that we can always say that if we really wanted to we could have killed her at any time by ripping out her Witch. I think we can do that, but we have to be holding their Soul Gem or be close enough at least, but bluffing.

More importantly, we could've killed Madoka right off the bat.

And we aren't sure what ripping the witch out actually does.

Sometimes people, especially cynics, trust what you haven't done to hurt/threaten them than what you have done to help them... even if they don't like it. I know I wouldn't like the person who pointed as much out to me, but I would be less suspicious of them. On the other hand, I realized while typing this, that she expects us to be like Oriko... which means we could be playing the long-term game and she can't trust anything we say on principle.

We "know" it does something really bad. We haven't actually done it, but our magic instincts told us it'd be bad I think.
 
You could have written in an option to try and kill Oriko, yes.

Instead, the vote went 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH', which I took to mean, y'know, not killing Oriko.

Also, since it seems some discussion has started up, I'll leave this to brew overnight, see if anything new develops.

This seems like a very bad thing to say. Remember, all Oriko wants is to stop Madoka from contracting. And, this is not the time for us to come off as sympathetic to Oriko at all, since Homura seems pretty unhappy with our presence, enough to almost shoot us out of hand. Plus, those two statements don't seem to follow at all, neither helps convince her of our trustworthiness and worse, they appear to be blatant attempts to appeal to her emotionally without giving any actual evidence.

Sure, but Homura was literally just about to shoot us, knows we met Oriko earlier, and possibly still means to shoot us if we're not convincing enough. I'd definately point out the differences, and the suspicion of Kirika having taken out Hitomi for some unknown reason, but not until Homura trusts us a bit more.
