Fucking hell, you're right. After all, Wraiths are the Universe's enforcers, essentially. Wishes seem to interface with said universe directly.
If her Wish needed to produce a physical agent to carry out her will...the Universe would be the one providing said agent. That is, it'd produce a Wraith or Wraith-like entity to do the job. Sabrina appeared from nowhere.
Why we were wounded is harder to guess, but if Walpurgisnacht WAS used as an ingredient...
Wait. Wait. Memories...they're linked to memories.
Body. Mind. Soul.
Wraith. SV. Walpurgisnacht.
As hilarious as the idea would be, I can't really truck properly with a Wraith theory, yet. There's some problems. First of all, the most human Wraith we ever got only appeared as such to Homura, and despite being sympathetic was still part of the Wraith hivemind and still thought like one. Prime Directive and whatnot, i do not understand humans, bluh bluh.
Secondly, Wraiths are the Universe trying to counter the supremacy of human emotion over physics. Sabrina's goals are essentially the opposite, as she's trying to kick Karmic Destiny in the taint.
Thirdly, and probably the most damning, she wasn't able to do any of her griefy shit that is being used to compare her to a Wraith until she made a wish.
So if I had to make an addendum to the theory, Sabrina is Walpurgisnacht dewitched, and her Grief Control wish doesn't just give her witch-y abilities, but through implication give her Wraith-y ones, as she's essentially functioning similar to a Wraith. This might explain the "hilarious bootstrapping process" our wish invokes. We essentially wished to emulate the cosmic balancing system that governs hope and despair.
We might be a witch-turned-human that essentially wished to be a Wraith hybrid, allegorically.
And episode 12 is enough for Firn to base all of that off of, really. The rest is just details he could've easily retconned back in.
