MY TIME HAS COME!Unfortunately, the giant epiphany storm happened on the discord, but we're now pretty sure something is up Sayaka. (Sympathetic to witches earlier and recently, never took her music player to Kyouske, she and Madoka both gave Nagisa an odd look on first meeting, has powers that mimic abilities shown in Rebellion, magic shows angelic imagery not previously associated with her, may have deliberately showed herself to Kyouko across the river, the list goes on.) Which is part of why I've been pushing for that meeting.
MY TIME HAS COME!

If the premise of this Quest isn't even "real" because of Rebellion/Angel shenanigans, I will be very sad tbh
Hmmm, currently we're on 15 words for the job + segue, I think we can do it:In order to reassure Mami, consider spelling Sabrina telling Kazusa how the Clear Seeds will let her go back to school, in the vote.
I know that's what you're going for, but since you're already voting to comfort Mami instead of trusting Brinapilot, might as well make sure?
That whole theory is a stretch. Smiling at a cute kid and making a smartass remark about a Witch qualifies as suspicious now? You're deep in conspiracy theorist territory. For non-Discordians (pfeh, hail eris), a log of this discussion can be found here.

Implement some of these proposed changes and I could throw my vote behind it.In any event, I'll give folks an hour or two to chime in before I switch my vote.
You're cherry-picking supporting evidence ("things that could have disproven the hypothesis if they went a different way but didn't") and presenting it as the whole of the evidence. That whole theory is a stretch. Well yeah at this point in time anything I say in regard to Nagisa is absolutely conspiracy theory stuff. It's an outgrowth of a theory from an readthrough upon entering the new readthrough. But at the same time It came after I concluded that something was up with Sayaka, not before. That whole theory is a stretch. Smiling at a cute kid and making a smartass remark about a Witch qualifies as suspicious now? You're deep in conspiracy theorist territory.
Wait a minute...
What wish could possibly have given this result without breaking the "Kyubey doesn't do the monkey's paw thing" principle?
Nah, we're ending it on a high note. That's why we called Sayaka: We need her air step. How can we end the conversation in a high note, if we never tried singing?
What if we're off pitch?
Those two are the most outrageous examples, but hardly the only ones:You're cherry-picking supporting evidence ("things that could have disproven the hypothesis if they went a different way but didn't") and presenting it as the whole of the evidence.
Well, you tell me. You're the one doing it.Are we doing the discord shadow cabal bullshit yet again?
*sigh*
Those two are the most outrageous examples, but hardly the only ones:
Saying Sabrina made an awesome wish? Even before she knew about grief building up in soul gems, she knew that we wished to control the power and substance of witches. That's a pretty potent power to have if you're going to be fighting witches.
Not bringing Kyousuke the music player? That could just be butterflies resulting from us showing up and changing events. Sayaka could just be in a different mood that day. That might not even be the day she brought it in the previous timeline. PMMM is hardly specific or clear about how many days passed between events. Or maybe we interrupted them before she started playing the music for him.
Getting along with Kyouko? The only reason Kyouko and Sayaka were at each others' throats is because of Kyouko's aggression. We told Kyouko that we wanted her to train Sayaka and to send wayward magical girls to us, so she had no reason to attack Sayaka in this timeline.
Sayaka wandering into Kyouko's territory? Kyouko's territory takes up our entire eastern border. She had a 25% chance of going there if she picked a direction in random, and the industrial area where meguca go to be alone (and where we trained with Sayaka that morning) is in the same direction.
Yes, we thought we saw a glimpse of Madokami at the start, but the points being put forward to support the idea of a post-Rebellion Sayaka are all extremely dubious. Put all in a row and not subjected to any sort of scrutiny or skepticism, it feels like a large quantity of evidence through sheer volume, but each link in the chain of reasoning is individually weak.
But hey, it's easy enough to test. Have a private conversation with Sayaka and start dropping hints. See if you get a response. I'm willing to bet that Sayaka does not have much of a poker face.
Are we doing the discord shadow cabal bullshit yet again?
*sigh*
Perhaps because it's thematically appropriate. Why did she have music and mermaid motifs in her magic before? Because she wished for the sake of a doomed love for a musician. What did she wish for this time? To be able to help people. What do modern conceptions of angels envision them doing?
It happens quite a bit. There were quite a few who got TheEyes' name wrong as well (they said "The Eyes"), but the tally program apparently disregards whitespace in the username.
