Relevant quote so people stop being wrong on the internet. :V

"It is a rather important service, yeah," you agree. "But yeah. Sayaka, do you want to come along for that? I'm kind of wondering if you can hold more than one power at a time, or maybe store them - and actually that's something I'm kind of wondering, if you could enchant a power into something reusable or something like that."

A slowly growing grin splits Sayaka's face. "That sounds amazing."

We did tell Sayaka about trying this.

We also need to determine what we're gonna ask Miss Pixels (Inoue Yuuki) to do for us.

We want her to fake us a legal identity as Sabrina Vee, that's for sure.

Do we want her to fake us any more legal identities?

That wish is beyond Madoka's potential.

So Blueberry did get the idea from us. She's still awesome, and we need to let her know that. Maybe next she could try to scan powers instead of taking them? It seems related.

Actually that wish would be simple enough to fufill. Incoming solar flare takes the whole internet down for almost 24 hours. People stop being wrong on the internet, then start back to being wrong on the internet.

[SoS] Squee over Sayaka.
-[Q] See if she can scan powers from a distance.

Edit: Oops, certain letters in brackets are codes.

Well, without much prompting, at least. :p

We probably want both an identity that matches our outward age and an adult identity to use for legal purposes.
These two at the bare minimum, because without an adult identity we won't be able to own property or transfer money, but with only an adult identity, our hanging around with teenage girls is going to raise some eyebrows. I'd like to have a couple more for emergencies, but I guess they can wait for another time.

Here's an experiment idea. We should see if Sayaka can copy Kyouko's illusion magic, despite her losing it. Or being locked out of it, or however it works.

I still want to keep playing around with barriers, but everyone's going to be all "oh no, feathers".

The Simurgh has feathers, but she's fluffy and nice. Don't give in to feather-phobia!

Well I mean it doesn't have to be the next time they meet. Just propose the idea. Heck, Sayaka might actually think about it herself, not that she knows about Kyouko's magic handicap.

Actually, I can't remember if Kyouko has told Sabrina about her magic...so if we mention something to Sayaka about Kyouko's magic not working right, and she mentions it to her, that might bring up the whole meta-knowledge thing.

...I'm thinking...this could go a couple of ways. 1. whether we mention copying Kyouko's magic or not. 2. whether we mention Kyouko's magic is currently locked. 3. if Sayaka thinks about asking to copy Kyouko's magic on her own. In that order.

So based on what I know of Kyouko's personality, if we talk about her magic, in either capacity, whatever outburst that happens might flow uphill to to Sabrina, which may not be a bad thing. It would allow her to mitigate and talk to both of them. But if Sayaka starts it by herself, not only does that show good initiative, it allows the two of them to talk about things. Well...yell about it, but still, that may not be entirely bad either.

Hm. Well in the end it's just an idea, and possibly something to worry keep in mind when Sayaka meets up to train with Kyouko.

I believe the vote to fistbump Sayaka is a good one yes. So far as the rest... well given we've just been given a landing signal to go on we may as well make a general vote to carry on politely and ask what's been going on in our absence?

We should give some thought to what we're going to offer in regards to cleansing at this time. I see three options at the moment:
  1. Cleanse everyone and refresh their grief seeds to default state, then come back again next week and hope that we've developed something more permanent by then.
  2. Pull a month or two's worth of grief out of each of their grief seeds so that they're at least covered until after Walpurgisnacht when we'll have more time available.
  3. Make them Clear Seeds so that they're covered for the foreseeable future.
Option 1 means that we'll have to keep doing this weekly until we invent a better cleansing method, and if anything happens to us they'll be back to living on the brink. Option 2 is pretty much the same except it probably won't need to be done again within the duration of the quest. Option 3 means we'll be carrying substantially more grief around unless we tolerate a conversation with Kyubey.

The ribbon device our blue bomber made; it's clearly shaped after Mami's transformed soul gem, but is it single use? Multiple use? Runs on a battery of some kind? Can it be activated remotely, e.g. as an entangling trap?

Sayaka basically just became the goddamn Batman.

I mean, realistically talking to kyubey isn't the worst thing in the world, just don't chat with him like you're having coffee together. Short, to the point, don't answer any questions- we have something he wants. He doesn't really understand "rude" and doesn't care how we treat him insofar as polite conversation as long as he gets it.

Only downside- clear seeds are still prototypes, and this is a volatile area. Also, if either group has clear seeds, they all need them or a fight will break out. And frankly, I like the excuse to check in once a week.

I assume we'll leave at least one Grief Seed with each group.

Problem is that it'll leave us with so much Grief, we will have to call KB during these trips to get rid of it.

Maybe two Seeds for Ishinomaki, since it's such a large group? And one for the independent, if we can locate her. Later, one or two for each Sendai group.

It is possible that a Clear Seed might have been enough to break Akio out of her need to hoard, but by the time we got to her she was pretty far gone anyway, and it's unlikely to revive her as she is

That said, it's worth trying just for the potential to get a traumatized girl back on her feet

I know it's been going on for many updates now, but good god are they in the "can't keep their hands off each other" stage of a relationship.

I am rather looking forward to seeing Sabrina + Mami interact with Kyoko together. Kyoko is crude and forward enough that there's no way she's not going to comment on what she sees going on in front of her. I'll be interested to see if she can make Mami blush, or if Mami is so into it that she doesn't even care about crude remarks directed her way and is incapable of being embarrassed.

Now I am picturing Kyouko giving Sabrina a "she trusts you, if you break that trust I will stab you. Also if you tell Mami I said that I wilk stab you." Speech.
