Definitely think it should be Ishinomaki before Sendai. Sendai's more likely to have drama that could cause things to run long. And if things go smoothly, then maybe we can have the Ishinomaki hacker-guca start on our new IDs before Sendai and they'll be ready for us to pick up by the time we're done there?

I won't discount the possibility that Kanna could copy Sabrina, but since Sayaka just flat out can't do it, I think other power copiers would have similar trouble.
I've been wondering for a while now if Sayaka's inability to copy Sabrina's power is because of the nature of her wish. Most magical girls wish for something and get a thematically-related power as a bonus. Sabrina wished for a specific power. Maybe that makes a difference?

This is a bad time for it, but I don't think we should have said "right there with you" or anything like it. I mean, we have to put it more delicately than this, but the simple fact is, Homura's approach has never worked. And this is directly at odds with our goal of making Madoka feel more included without contracting.
Even if we wanted to do things Homura's way, it became pretty much impossible as soon as Sayaka contracted. There's no way that Madoka is going to cut off all contact with her best friend, which means that she's going to be around magical girls whether Homura likes it or not. And while the way she found out was definitely bad, it became inevitable that she would learn about Walpurgisnacht as soon as we told Sayaka, for the same reason.

Do we want to extend the invitation to Sayaka, or leave her to keep Madoka company?
I think that having Sayaka and Mami go witch hunting with Nadia would be a good idea. Sayaka would get some more experience and Mami would get to do some senpai-ing for a bit. I was going to suggest letting them do that while we had a private talk with Homura and Madoka, but I'm not sure they're in the mood for that right now.

My initial instict was something like having Sayaka go with Nadia, decent back-up with a chance of learning more about Magical Girl life and fighting, while Sabrina headed off to fulfill Her Word with Mami.

Whatever the case, I think we should decline the offer to hunt, Sabrina has two trips to make and at least two groups of Magical Girls to deal with today. There's almost no way there won't be some kind of distraction or immediate issue that would need to be taken care of, so I think it'd be best to have as much time as possible. At the least, we should telepathy both cities and let them know that we might be coming in later than expected because of socializing with a traveling Magical Girl.

EDIT: BTW, while we're at Sendai or Ishinomaki, could we pick up the stuff Kirika wanted?

Maybe somebody could make a list of side-quests promises Sabrina has made so they can be kept track off. It's hard to remember everything that needs to be done in a quest like this, let alone everything that we said we'll do.

See, some people may see this as saying we can't send Mami with Nadia while we do something else. Other people? Other people may see this as saying we can send Madoka with Nadia on the Witch Hunt, since there's no scratched out Madoka name in the list. :V

Sabrina/Mami won't choose to part ways if they can help it. Also, Homu is in a bad mood, she can have some time to stew on it while we're hunting.

I think Firn's given some kind of positive answer to it being because of Sabrina's weird soul.

Sabrina headed off to fulfill Her Word with Mami
Fullfill her word on what?

I assume that they mean our promise to come back once a week to cleanse the girls in Ishinomaki and Sendai.

Yeah, I'm feeling a similar way. (Much as it pains me to put off The Talk again.) Plus, it would be good to do some bonding with Nadia. And I'm kinda curious what she can do.

Actually, just Grief-make all of PMMM and show it to everyone, Nadia included. She'll appreciate the information. :V

So what I have in mind so far:

- Yes, Hunt.
- Homu, can we have important talk when I'm back?
- Ishinomaki first (call ahead).

As for the Witch Hunt itself, maybe we can try the Cannone Picchio to kill the Witch? We need to practice it somewhere, a Barrier is the best place, and Nadia will enjoy the show. :p

Can't we call it something cooler and less bird-related? :p

If we use the autocannon to take out the witch, I don't think Sayaka and Nadia will have much to do except watch, because it'll probably be obliterated instantly. :D

We could use the occasion for more hammertime, while using grief to support our teammates.

We'd still need to wipe all the familiars first, so they don't get away (LIKE THAT TIME).

Also, Sayaka's coming with us on the trip, maybe she needs to prepare before then, or maybe she plain wants to do something else. I think we're only talking for ourselves (and Mami) when we answer Nadia, here.

Just as Narrator said. I wasn't sure how to put it and didn't care that much, so I just capitalized it and made it sound like it was just some big important thing. Which it kind of is. Mostly I thought it would be really obvious what I meant, and decided to joke that Sabrina's word is like some guaranteed fact.

If you wanted to be super clear... "fulfill Her Word with Mami" made me thing we had promised Mami something I couldn't remember. :p

Experiment with hammer: Try making it so big we can smash the entire Barrier in one hit. :V

I think Cannone Picchio is just fine for what it is. Though, if we felt we needed a better name, we could pull Mami aside before entering the Barrier for a quick private chat.

Then everyone might think we're discussing battle tactics or so, when in reality we're discussing attack names.

Serious Business!

"THIS...IS SUPER MEGUCA 2!

AND THIS...IS TO GO...EVEN FURTHER...BEYOND!!!"
"THAT'S AMAZING!"

"You could save ALL the magical girls..."

"I'm in love with Madoka."

"That's my daugh- Wait, w-w-what?!"

"... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

"See Mami? We're so awesome we make closeted lesbians confess their feelings in two seconds flat."

*Hair flips*

"... That needs work, though."

Don't forget to add a grenade launcher to the hammer! :V
Or better yet, a grenade launcher that fires hammers! :D

A poorly-worded rule in D20 Star Wars Saga Edition for rigging any device to explode ("it functions in all ways like a frag grenade"), if taken too literally, implied that it could be fired out of a grenade launcher. People immediately began joking about using this on power hammers to make a gun that fired giant exploding hammers.

I suspect somebody has already done this, but just for the hell of it I went and made a witch card for Dedolere (Well, sort of a witch card. I modeled it after the witch profiles in Imperatrix Mundi). Probably not that great, but I tried.

Dedolere said:
Dedolere, the black hole witch with a controlling nature. She who once tried to reach out to the world, now draws the unfortunate into her orbit instead. those who traverse her barrier may do so with ease so long as they move toward the center; however, the moment they turn back they will be confronted by the witch herself. Those wishing to not be consumed by the witch must only move closer to her, not away. However, those who actually touch the witch will never be able to escape her grasp. As such, this witch has a hatred for Zeno's Paradox.

Hugo: Familiars of the black hole witch, whose duty is to lock visitors into the witch's orbit. They break off their arms inside the limbs of the witch's new friends, so that control of their body can be taken from them if they try to do something unwise.

Muriel: Familiars of the black hole witch, whose duty is to keep the witch's friends from endangering themselves. They will normally sit on the friend's head, but will seize upon Hugo's severed arms if the friend attempts to leave the barrier or bring harm to another.

Candela: Familiar of the black hole witch, whose duty is to be comforted. Her elegant form, once beautiful enough to bring the witch to tears, has been marred by Hugo's limbs and the Muriel that clashes with her design. There is only one of this familiar, and once you have seen it you can be certain that you have reached the exact center of the barrier.
