Well, Homura's reaction hurts, but was expected, I think. She puts a lot of trust in us, so everytime we don't live up to that trust, it hits her pretty hard.

As for plans:
A short hunt should be pretty doable and we could learn some more about Nadia on the way, it shouldn't take very long depending on how fast we find the two witches.

We can head on our cleaning trip afterwards. That both the Suzune and Kazumi cast still seem fine for now before tragedy strikes is also a good sign and we should probably make sure that it stays that way.

Especially the Asunaro girls could be valuable for any dewitching experiments and having Tsubaki around as an experienced older magical girl could be another stabilising influence, so we should also get in contact with her.

It seems like Madoka is more horrified by the fact that that MG was killed fighting a Witch than by the whole "city-destroying Witch" revelation, given that we were able to tell Madoka that we're prepared for the latter and plan on ganking the fuck out of it, while the former is more of a fact of life that we can't really do anything about in the near future.

Is 05:00:00 5PM or 5AM?

[] Decline, you have to head to Ishinomaki and Sendai
- [] Head to Ishinomaki first
- [] Head to Sendai first
- [] Suggest someone else can go hunting with her
-- [] Sayaka

I'm undecided as to whether or not we can afford to spare the time for a hunt or two. I'm partially inclined to do a hunt with her to show off how ridiculously broken our power is when it comes to Witch fights (Mass grief control in an entire world comprised entirely of grief, against an enemy comprised entirely of grief...yeah). But if we can't really spare the time, then sending Sayaka with her is a good idea. So that Nadia won't be alone, so that Sayaka can get some experience (without having to be alone either), and because Homura is probably going to stay glued to Madoka's side for the time being.

As to whether we should head to Sendai or Ishinomaki first...I dunno, coin toss? I feel like we should try making some Grief Construct instrumentation for our aircraft--so that we know how fast we're going, the exact heading for our destination, and when we're approaching our destination. It would be good practice for when we make a super-spaceplane.

I have no idea what we need to do in those places beyond just the cleansing we promised. Should we offer to make Clear Seeds for them? On the one hand, it would basically mean that we'd no longer have to make trips out there to do cleansing, freeing up our schedule a bit and having one less thing to worry about. On the other hand, it would rob us of the excuse to go out there regularly (which potentially robs us of the chance of getting into Sakura's good graces [unlikely as that seems], and having a teleporter we can ask for a favor from would be very helpful) and bond with the various groups.

Hmm. So Sayaka helped Madoka calm down, but we wanted to bring Sayaka along with us to Ishinomaki and Sendai.

I'm tempted to see if we can bring both along, or leave them both behind. Bringing them (and Homura, obviously) would let us all have a heartfelt talk while en route, but it's just more exposure to the meguca community which makes Homura nervous, and for good reason considering how much Madoka reacts to things. How would she react if she knew how many civilians died because the Sendai girls were throwing around cars during last week's little tussle?

Leaving them both behind is another option. It delays SCIENCE on Sayaka's powers, but would be better for Madoka and Homura's peace of mind, which would be a pretty clear decision if that were all there were to it. It removes our ability to help steer the conversation between Sayaka, Madoka, and Homura, though, and we know from canon that putting those three in a room alone is probably less than wise.

Approx. 2 hours after the update was posted.

Firn used a new bit of code that automatically adjusts depending on where the located is located. So while it shows up as 5:00 for you, it's 3:00 AM for me (gmt +8 on my end).
... Wait, what? It's supposed to be 12 hours after I posted, give or take a bit.
....that...doesn't answer my question?
Hang on a sec, what do you see? Because it displays the AM/PM for me, "Voting is closed until: Tomorrow at 5:00 AM" to be precise.

Which tells me jack shit. I mean, +10:00 means...I have no fucking clue. Likewise, 05:00:00 means...5 o'clock? But AM or PM?

EDIT: Well, that's what it displayed for me at the time.

BTW, a voting moratorium of 10 hours is hardly sufficient; considering how late it was posted, and the fact that most people have work in the mornings, a lot of people would not even have time to read the new post until something like 18 hours afterwards. Ideally, you want at least a full day of voting moratorium to give people a chance to hash out plans without being pressured to build a bandwagon just in order to be noticed.

So to clarify, you see it as a countdown time now, yes? And perhaps. We'll see how this works out; I'm still mulling it over.

Checking the story-only thread, we didn't specify the time we'll meet the Ishinomaki and Sendai groups. Just an ambigous 'tomorrow'.

It's 1 pm now, so I guess it depends if we're willing to let them wait until the evening for our trip? It's not the fight itself, but rather the witch hunt/search that's gonna take awhile.

The fights should be really quick, but even if the search takes a while we should still have the time for the visits afterwards .

I also don't know who we could send with Nadia. Letting her go alone is something I want to avoid due to the possibility of something going wrong during a fight. Homura is most likely unwlling to leave Madoka's side after what just happened and we promised Sayaka we'd take her with us on our cleansing trip.

There's always Kyoko; haven't we been looking for things for her to do for us, so she'll feel like we "owe" her enough that we can give her a Clear Seed without her thinking it's a trap?

You do realize that that means Kyoko's hopping over to Mitakihara, Yuma in tow, just to babysit a self-sufficient and veteran Meguca? Not to mention all the other issues Mami still has with regards to Kyoko?

And unless we give her a good enough reason, if none of our current part would go, I think Nadia would prefer to trust her own abilities rather rely on someone she met in five minutesbto watch her backb out of our nebulous worries.

If she desperately needs backup within ten minutes while we're away, we could tell her to contact Masami and Hiroko instead.

A little bit of clarification, because Sabrina should realise this: Nadia's not looking for backup, she's offering as a kind of social activity, the implication being that Mami asked to accompany her on hunts before.
