I'd really rather not bring up Oriko right now. Not only would telling the whole story derail the conversation, but Nadia hasn't actually agreed to join our team yet, and until she does there are some things that we should keep to ourselves.

What should Koko's title's be?
Nun.

She's got too many bad habits to be nobility, she won't take well to conventional titles. She's not some cloistered little princess with romantic dreams, She's a street rat through and through, poor as a church mouse and happier for it.

But if she had a title, it's be Spear Saint.

You are to blinded by the canonness to see the revelations I have revealed: Koko has stared into the abbey, and the abbess stared back.
"My god it's full of puns." She said before she ran far away.

Anyway, for serious, Koko'd have a church title, but most of those would probably be a tad too heretical, so probably a title from one of the crusading knightly orders.

Edit:
Dunno about what vows she's take.

Kung fu?

Vow of Not Wasting Food?
Vow of Self-Reliance?
Vow of Beating The Shit Out Of Sayaka?

"Wait, what-"

"Come 'ere, Fishie Fishie! Let's make some sushi!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

We should ask, have magical girls work for human authorities before and how did the interaction go.

We know some of those answers in canon. Suffice to say, MGs were very public figures back in the day and actively took part in wars for everyone to rally around as they literally disintegrated regiments of trained soldiers on their own.

I expect they're less public nowadays, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of them do secretly work for certain, private, individuals or small-time public service NGOs. Who knows, maybe there's even a MG Hitman somewhere! That'd be all kinds of neat!

[x] Ask if she knows how to get in touch with refugees who can't get here on their own

Still not clear on what that's supposed to accomplish. We've asked her to do stuff for us and will be offering to do stuff for her at some point before the conversation ends. Whose team she might be on is just bookkeeping.
The only thing that we've asked her to do is to tell people about us, which is something that she'd be inclined to do anyway because spreading information is her job. And while we've discussed among ourselves offering her various things, we have not actually offered them yet, nor does Godwinson's vote suggest offering them in this update. She's still an independent operator. Treating her like she's already on our side is jumping the gun.

What else do we want her to do?
Things that I would like to try to hire her to do for us:
  1. Actively recruit for us. Not just tell people we exist, but encourage the right kind of people to seek us out.
  2. Put is in contact with other groups that might be amenable to some sort of cooperation and help us negotiate agreements with them.
  3. Help us guide refugees to new homes, most notably including here to join us against Walpurgisnacht.
  4. Act as our eyes and ears overseas.

1. "A grief controller is hiring" is news.
2. "A grief controller wants allies" is news.
3. I'm voting to ask how to get in touch with refugees. Both where refugees are and where they can go is news.
4. So tell us news.

You don't need to own the newspaper to put an ad in the classifieds.

What vote is this? You haven't voted yet.

You don't need to own the newspaper to put an ad in the classifieds.
You don't generally tell the newspaper your private information, either. Like the fact that you used to have a pet precog.

You seem to be changing position here. Before you implied it was fine to tell her our secrets because her doing her typical job meant that she was already a teammate. Now you're implying that she doesn't need to be a teammate, because her doing her typical job will accomplish what we need. But if she's not a teammate, then she doesn't need to know our secrets, which was what I was getting at in the first place.

If you inferred that at any point then I didn't adequately convey my position. I don't consider "on the team" to be a relevant position for someone not operating in Mitakihara. Services can be exchanged without that. It does nothing.

I voted on the last page.

Odd. The tally wasn't showing that vote until I manually changed some settings that should not have been relevant.

And again, if Nadia's just someone we're doing business with, then we should not be telling her all our secrets. Especially not when it's going to derail the conversation and possibly provoke another Sayaka tantrum.

And as for whether there's any point for someone not in Mitakihara to be considered on the team, I was under the impression that we were going to be expanding our reach beyond just this city.
